true... but have you really retired someone & proud of it when judges scorecards deemed you were losing about 75% of the rds you fought. In Helenious case.. you can say he retired him because he was the one who really won 80% of the rds & got robbed... no such thievery vs Vitali. You have to at least win on judges scorecards.. outbox & outslug the opponent so he can question whether he wants to do it again any time soon.... son.... come on now!
Chisora has retired Vitali and Helenius.
Go on Boxrec and he is the last person they have fought. So he's retired them.Comment

Vitali was jabbing half has much as he usually did... his left hand was rendered useless for the majority of the fight & he still won comfortably. Vitali didn't get outlanded in any of the 12 rds. It was a very good performance & showed the difference in class between the other giants Chisora has faced. Let's stop making it out to be a bad Vitali Klitschko performance when he actually schooled Chisora in the same manner Wlad schooled Haye... only difference is Vitali had a pushy bobber & weaver coming at him & getting peppered with shots for his trouble.
Vitali now neeeds 3 ko's in a row to tie & 4 to break Marciano's record ko% as he's allowed 3 of the last 5 fighters to hear the final bell.
3 of his last 6 fights have gone 12 rounds. Thats 50% against inexperienced novices, a lightheavyweight, an overweight asthmatic and Albert Sosnoski. Vit will be forced to rely on resume' to achieve greatness, now that his inflated numbers are crashing down.Comment

Nice try there, just take out any desired point out of someone's career and say that's an unbeatable record. How about Vitali's 27-0 record as a world champion with 27 KOs? Anyway, it doesn't really matter if Vitali will hold the highest KO percentage record or not, as of now he's still in the Top 2 and will be a HOF inductee anyway, like it or not.Comment

Foremans 63-2(60kos) is a stat I used to mock the folks who ejaculated over 43-2(40kos). Both are merely points in time before age began to grab hold of their records,
Hopefully Vitali is not ****** enough to fight until hes 48. Without his inflated numbers hes just the guy who quit against Byrd and got his face pummeled by Lennox.Comment

These posters were using that record when it was still accurate, Vitali is nearing retirement now, so there's not gonna change much about it. If he knocks out his last 2 opponents without a shoulder injury it's gonna go back up again, but it doesn't matter much because he's an ATG and HOFer now no matter what.Comment

The record is 4 in a row.. last 4 fighters to face Vitali have not proven beyond a shadow of doubt that they are ready.. willing & able to fight anyone else.. let alone rematch Vitali just like the other 42 opponents who didn't come back for seconds.Comment

I don't see any stolen Ko's on Rock's resume.. so as far as i'm concerned Vitali STILL owns the highest ko ratio in heavyweight history.. (this is the breakdown of all 6 non stoppages) pay attention.... he's had two incomplete fights where injuries cost him ko's.. vs Byrd & Lewis. then he's had 2 fights that went the distance because of shoulder tear & rehabbing his shoulder after surgery (Chisora.. Hoffman) & then he had two fighters who completely refused to exchange in Briggs & Johnson.. therefore limiting any counter opportunities & clearer shots at there jaws... all 6 opponents escaped BEING KTFO because Vitali wasn't at full capacity healthwise or they were in there just to survive while losing all 12 rds.Comment

Helenius will be on a Sauerland card in September.
Vitali had planned to fight again in June/July, but because of the shoulder injury is now planning to fight next in September.Comment
