Grandpa used to be a boxer and watched all the fights with his son (my dad) who started watching with me and now i watch all fights with my son. Honestly i cant remember not watching boxing.

when i was in school i watched some coverage of morales v barrera, then in school i was a fan of prince naseem hamed, watched him get demolished by barerra, thats the first full fight i watched...i remember seeing mayweather gatti when i was a kid i think it was on sky sports (uk) and i turned that **** over, it was brutal, mommy didnt want me watching that. now his a legend, wish i watched that **** exclusively when i was a kid man.

I remember just watching it all the time a the house, everybody in my family loves it. I liked it young and just love it now.

I got transferred into a new school and a bully took my jacket and lunch money then beat me up so I learned how to box and kicked his ass then took my jacket back

When I was babysat by my grandparents my Gramps had a TON of old fight tapes. All the oldies like Johnson, Louis, Robinson, Graziano, Ketchel, etc.

I actually grew up watching these old time fighters before I started watching current boxing which began around 9 or 10 in the Delahoya/Chavez era. Great times.
