What got you into boxing ???

Chavez introduced me to the sport, but DLH fights were like the superbowl for me. Never looked back after that.

I was always some what of a casual fan.

but when I started watching Marquez fight was what got me into boxing on a serious level.
now I can't really live with out it

ever since i saw de la hoya - mosley and saw the way people cheered for DLH i was like this is what i want to be...so after that i started boxing and watching almost every single fight and became addicted

boxing is addicting! i remember i got banned from boxingscene for 1 day cause of a victor conte thread,, i went nuts,, (wasnt doin much that day),,, lol i guess i need my boxingscene tskk tsskk

Always been kinda casual bout it. Always heard about Tyson smashin guys and how epic his fights with Holyfield was when I was a little kid. Also, I had always been into martial arts and MMA, so eventually I saw Gatti vs. Ward 3 live and later on Morales vs. Pacquiao 1 and I've been hooked since.

I was brand new in a school disrtict starting High School, I knew nobody and found the new enviornment rather snobbish. That year a school had closed and those students were all transfered to the school that I was now attending. So there were the cliques of the one school, the cliques of the other and me standing some where in the middle with my goofy hair cut. I got through the 1st semester just laying low and planned to do the same through this semester, then came the 1st day of 4th hour English class.

I enter the class room to the familiar feeling of knowing nobody, nothing but faces of people that I knew nothing about. I head up the 1st isle of desks. There was a goofy looking kid with braces looking through his text book so I made my way to the desk behind him. As I started to place my books on the desk the kid turns around telling me that I can't sit there, I chuckle and sit down. He gets a scowl on his face and angrily turns back around.

The teacher begins his attendance checks by calling out names. The kid turns around and says I'll kick your ass, I'm a boxer. I'll pay your membership fee and I'll kick your ass. The rest is Rockin' history..........Rockin'
