The best sporting live that I have ever been to. I went to college (football and basketabll), NBA and the NFL. None them have come close to being at a fight live.

I've never been to a live fight either. I've only been in Vegas when a big fight was going on (May/Mosley)...but I did go and watch it in a huge banquet room at the Mirage on Closed Circuit TV...which pretty much is the huge banquet room with a bunch of 100 inch movie screens throughout the room with the fight on. You sit at a bunch of banquet tables with 8 other people you may or may not know, and they serve drinks and have snacks and so forth if you want to buy them. You can't really hear the fight commentators...which can be a good thing, imo...but Closed Circuit is the only way you can watch the fight in Vegas unless you are at the fight, or at a home in Las Vegas.

I will say this though...just being in Vegas during the fight weekend is pretty cool. You see all the posters and hype, and there is certainly a buzz.

I was real close to going to the actual fight but my friend didn't want to pay the money so we just did the Closed Circuit. This time I will either take a girl with me, or go by myself, but either way, I'll be inside the Arena. PPV on HD at home, or inside the venue from here on out.

I'd like to hear from some people who've actually been inside the MGM arena and see if it's worth the money. I'd want to be no further than the seats just past ringside if I go.

I believe it was JCChavez vs. Meldrick Taylor I.

I think that was a PPV event. I watched other fights with my pops before that one when I just a kid, but I think that fight was the first PPV.

i went to rios/acosta and morlaes/madiana last year and both were great. then i went to pac/marquez and it was a whole different level. the energy was crazy. best part was all the mexicans in the crowd signing the mexican anthem. it was incredible. you definitely need to try to go to a big fight.
