I don't even know how we got to this comparison lol.
There's no comparision between Trevor Berbick and Matthew Hatton who is a career welter fighting for a Light Middleweight title.

It's a ****** comparison... but the point of the comparison is, they both fought weak champions.

And, a welter fighting for a jr mw title is anything but irregular.

        Canelo was press release garbage.
It was always going to be Cotto.
A 21 year old kid, flaws and all, could get very lucky against the aging Mayweather

i dunno if canelo is a better fighter than cotto yet, what i do know is that hes done nothing to prove hes better. nothing whatsoever. so instead of talking, he should be out there proving hes worthy of fighting the best, because he hasnt done that yet to be talking like a pretentious lout. i think the kid has too many yes men, and thats what might lead to his downfall.

Hey but at least Berbick was the HW Champ when Tyson fought him, Matthew Hatton most important fight at the time was for the European Title.

And Matthew Hatton was never talked about as a contender, more like a journeyman or gatekeeper.

And Foreman was a 154 champ when Cotto beat him.

Seriously who cares.. like I said it's a ****** comparison.

In a way Canelo is right....Floyd is an opportunist like Hopkins and waits for the right time to attack. If you're really great you should fight someone at your best. Cotto is not at his best. There is a reason Floyd is fighting him now than before his "retirement".

To be fair I could say the same thing about Canelo with Mosley. Mosley hasn't done **** at 154 recently to get a shot at a belt.
