Martinez (like Cotto) is not a Top Rank fighter...

If Mayweather doesn't fight Martinez it is because Martinez loses his Champion status which would make the fight irreverent.

It doesn't say he is fighting him immedietly. Either way, it doesn't matter. MP has shown zero desire to get in there with Floyd anyway. Who is he supposed to fight? I for one think Floyd may fight again inlate Nov or December, and i really don't care who it is as long as he stays active. MP is out of the picture, he doesn't want it and he's also having conversations with the man upstairs and may retire after fighting Bradley.
