i'm tempted to ask maidana why the sudden request, his team is very responsive on twitter. i'm certain the chavez-rubio debacle influenced their decision. props to alexander for accepting.

Maidana Is Going To Train Wreck Alexander!

Devon has to be dirtying his diapers about now. Guerrero got close to fight night with Maidana, then claimed torn rotator cuff, and cancelled their fight. SInce has had NO interest in rescheduling, yet has called out everyone else in Boxing but Maidana. Mayweather could have chose Maidana, after Marcos destroyed Victor Ortiz in 6 rounds, and yet Floyd minus a set, chose to fight Ortiz anyway; wanted nothing to do with Maidana. Morales pounded the table he wanted a rematch with Maidana, until parties began to discuss those options, then Morales claimed publically, he didn't really need a rematch with Maidana. I didn't think so Erik. And Amir Khan, who most watching the fight lost to Maidana, Khan won't give Maidana a rematch for any amount of money. Tim Bradley didn't want aything to do with Maidana. Alexander will have his track shoes on, try to flurry punches, clinch, then run like hell.... that might work a while until he gets caught with a bomb from either hand of Maidana, then it's time to turn the shower on.
