Who runs boxing?

Anyone involved into putting fights together. State athletic commissions, boxing commissions, promoters, s**t even fighters themselves. If they really wanted to clean up the sport, they would. I have heard people say it'd cost too much money, and that's bulls**t.

Please tell me you're not one of those boxing fans who think the sport is mostly clean??? I heard the same about MLB from the mid 80's through the early 00's, and well......you know the rest.

Boxing will never be mostly clean until they randomly test all notable bouts throughout the training camp and leading up to the fight, than of course the one after the fight.

Someone who knows when they are going to be tested go use them and cycle off for a week, take a piss test and than use them again. Cycle off the last week before the fight, and test clean again after the fight. I am not saying most boxers do this, but it's naive to think there's not a lot of cheating going on in sport, it just is.

I understand this move in principle...and it's good for the sport...but what the hell? lol, that's so random...but has Alexander ever done anything that makes you scream "PEDS"? Oh well, cleaning up the sport one big fight at a time. Good work.

I like the moves toward cleaning up the sport. That way when I go pro, I don't have to worry about it as much.

The test cost $20K per fighter

You think people are gonna put up their own money to do this, especially when it involves probably millions of people on 6 continents, and make it into an organized joint effort to "clean the sport"?

Post tests are better than nothing, but they should of had VADA done it throughout camp.
