Call me a liar all you want but if you can't think of something positive about the Klitschko's reign, you are just a hater and no more thought should be given about you.

That right there says that you think he won the fight.

You have totally contradicted yourself in that post, Jimmothy.

So he's going to fight many more fights before the Klitschko fight then faces Vitali and gets patted down and retires when he is forced to rematch him. Have some common sense at least man.

As far as I remember, he was just waiting around for the Tyson fight, and when that finished he pretty much achieved everything he wanted to.

Not everybody wants to keep fighting on and on. Lennox wanted to go out at the top and not suffer too much. The Klitschko fight probably was a factor. But it wasn't a factor in the sense that Klitschko scared him off. It was a factor because it probably helped Lewis realise it wasn't worth it anymore.

Bear in mind, that at that time, the Klitschkos weren't really rated that highly, like they are now. Beating Klitschko again wouldn't have done much for Lennox's legacy - at least not at that time. Klitschko was the one who had everything to gain, and not much to lose.

I appreciate you being objective and I think a lot of what you said is true. The thing is though, Lennox never mentioned retirement or anything prior to the Vitali fight. In fact, he went on and on about how he was still prime and had no intention of retiring. He said he was at his best actually.

Now, moving forward. Please, don't get me wrong, I do not think LL was scared of Vitali. He couldn't be. He was basically the best heavyweight since Holmes in my opinion and fought almost everyone in his era.

My point is that he left unfinished business and in my opinion, he retired to avoid a rematch with Vitali and a potential loss. Not becase he was scared to be hurt. He avoided a Klitschko rematch for the same reason I believe that mayweather avoids Pacquiao. THE POTENTIAL OF A LOSS.

Why else would he wait until after Vitali beat Johnson as opposed to retiring right after the Klitschko fight? He only retired after the WBC told him he must rematch Vitali next or be stripped of his title. He chose to retire. I don't know any other way to take that honestly.

I am however done with this thread. Peace to those who deserve it. Piss on those who don't and you know who you are and what you are about deep down.

What else would he say you mong?

"Im well past my prime, unmotivated and just came back for a paycheque."

Use critical thinking. Lewis came back for a Tyson rematch. He came back to make one last mega payday for doing as little work as possible. His heart, head and body were no longer in the sport.

Yet he still was able to beat VK. Deal with it.

I just re-watched Ruiz v Tua in it's entirety and for my money Ruiz was ahead on points until the unfortunate KO.

Explain to me then why your hero himself, in his post fight interview, said:

"Lennox Lewis promised to knock me out in 5 rounds. Why didn't he? I know because he don't have condition for 5 rounds."
Explain that from the very horses mouth.

You choose to believe Lennox's words but not the assertion of your big boy Klit???? Vitali knew himself that Lewis couldn't last even 5 rounds and still couldn't knock him down, let alone knock him out.

True boxing fans know that a fighter can get old overnight in the middle of a fight. Most time there is know way to tell until thier in the middle of the fight. Lewis found out he could not move the way he use to, his reflexes were slow, his timing was off, his recovery was non exisitant. It has happen to many champions. Strong today, weak tomorrow. Learn the science behind fighting son. Anyways, an old, fat, washed up Lewis TKo'ed The great Vitali! LOL. That in itself is beyound funny. What would a prime Lewis the LION do to either brother. You already know son! Wake up youngster!
