I'm pretty sure the midgets would fight Sergio at 147.

Don't you find it funny that Martinez is being called overrated while the 2 guys above him won't fight him?

Hell 1 guy won't even fight Migual Cotto without yet another mannyweight of 148 & just got beat by a lightweight. Talk about overrated.
          GeniUs, without the o.

Not very fair to criticize Pacquiao or Mayweather for not fight Sergio. That's like saying Sergio is scared to move up and fight Ward or Dawson.

I don't have him at 5, the list was in no specific order, just fighters who came to mind when I started thinking of the fighters I have ahead of Martinez.

              I just don't see it.
Your kidding or your just an idiot .

What did PW make to Sergio? Martinez just lost a very "close" decision to him and knocked the **** out of him last time they met.

Cintron? lol ,that was a flagrant robbery and everyone knows it,by the time Sergio fought Cintron,Kermit was a solid fighter besides.

Margarito beat Sergio in what? 10 years ago? that was prehistory in boxing terms.

You can discuss he is not a top 3 p4p but your points are just moronic

Yeah, he is a bit. But seriously not for reasons you stated. You mentioned the Cintron fight wherein, imo, he was robbed twice. Also, if you take a long look of his opponents from Cintron up to current, you would see that no opponent has more than 1 loss at the time that he fought them. I guess that is subject to debate but still ... Sergio deserved his props. And the Macklin fight is like a tune if you look at his recent opponent.

He is a bit of a diva lately but everybody is now a diva. I mean Rigondeux is going the diva route as he is already old, Pirog ( much to my dismay ) appears to be a diva if the recent golovkin news is true.

he hit cintron so hard he thought it was a headbutt

and then his corner complained their way in back into the fight after two and a half minutes

martinez is vulnerable. he's also one of the best fighters on the planet right now. i do think that andre ward and juan manuel marquez are both well ahead of him in p4p ranking.
donaire has looked simmilarly vulnerable (if not knocking out solid fighters that show up with a gameplan is vulnerable in his case.)

i'd equate him with donaire right now. there's possibility that they'll be exposed for what they are down the road.

Please mang, Martinez is the champ....he got ranked where he is..........BY PROFESSIONALS, because he is the man. He has accomplished far more than these other dudes could dream about. A small MW fighting and KO'ing guys on a consistent basis why other dudes try to fight only in their homelands or use sanctioning bodies to avoid fighting the guy..........don't think it's because he sucks dude.
