He's right and it's the truth.

And the person who said Lin isnt far from Derrick Rose should never be allowed to talk basketball again

Hard-core Bruce Lee fans knew Kareem was Lee's student in JKD and therefore Kareem's character was the last guardian of the pagoda. Also, all fight sequences were meant to demonstrate adaptability to the opponent. Thus Kareem's physical advantages were highlighted in his fight sequences. I didn't see racism as a central focus, at least not in this film.

he shoulda just said, jeremy lin is a testament to hard work and dedication, as is his motto, and he would've gotten plenty of respect. but that woulda taken more than 1 thought from the guy.
If he said that than we wouldnt have this thread.

no player in NBA history has scored 20+ pts in his first 5 starts, and turned a team around single handedly so quickly, with both Melo and Amare out. And he's been cut and undersold his whole basketball career. What the guy is doing, given the level that he's exceeded expectations, is unprecedented in the NBA. For Floyd to boil it down to race does nothing other than expose how truly ****** he is, and how much he likes to hear himself talk. Floyd's a non-factor when it comes talking about Jeremy Lin. It's not upsetting to me, it's just embarrassing for him.

Jeremy Lin should be getting some coverage and attention after what he has been doing but IMO not to the level the media has taken it to. It seems like its Tim Tebow all over again. The guy fits the Dantoni offensive system. Amare will deffinately feed from this. Carmelo is still a question mark. Bottom line is that NYK as a team look alot better with him then without him. Dont know why Floyd has to bring the black & Asian thing unless he really is hating the fact that another Asian is getting attention here in the US.

The Warriors picked him up and gave him a 2 year contract, got cut this season and was about to get cut by the Knicks before they decided to keep him on the squad. What he's done is amazing. Coming from a nowhere to take the Mecca of basketball by storm. The guy Lin deserves his props. Floyd's ****** for making that statement, but it's nothing to get upset about IMO
You're right..those who said floyd has a point are ******. there were good if not high, expectations on andy lee and kevin love when they entered nba but jeremy, almost didn't get a chance to be in the nba and the number 4 point guard in the knicks line up made his a storm that is surprising and worth the praise. being asian doesn't make him special, it's his rise from nowhere made him worth the applause.

Talk to me when someone bothers throwing their entire team at Jeremy Lin for the whole game in order to stop him.

talk to me when they actually lose more than a game without him.
