Lin gets hype for doing well in New york...nobody would care if he scored 60 a game for the bucks. You don't see Floyd mentioning the LeBron hype before he even played a SINGLE NBA game....and he was going to be playing for Cleveland... What, a guy isn't entitled to props for getting people excited about the biggest market if he's not black? Heaven forbid he's well educated!

Floyd is just being a douche as usual.... With his hype job of a best friend who's the walking stereo type (50...but let's not get into that). Floyd needs to just do him and stay out of the public eye as much as possible. Lord knows he could use some good pr.



Lin wasn't some touted prospect he was just some dude trying to make it in the league and is playing his ass off for the biggest market out there right now.

Jeremy Lin still went to a D1 school though, so just cause James earned a scholarship dont mean nothing. They both went to D1 schools

Fact is, Lin can ball I aint denying that and I dont think nobody is denying that. But he's definitely getting a lot of publicity of the fact that he plays in NYC and is Asian.

But apparently people's feelings get hurt for speaking the truth

of course he will get some added hype because he is Asian since that is extraordinary. But to say that the only reason why he is being hyped is because he is Asian is absurd. And like you said playing for new york helps a lot too. Where did James play? Toronto? But to ignore the rest of his underdog story and everything backtracking all the way to his high school days and saying that has nothing to with his hype at all is also absurd, which is what mayweather said.
