Is Chavez jr growing on anyone else?

I mean, I didn't like the guy & I think it sucks that he has a title. However if he does fight Andy Lee, we gotta start paying attention to him. He got that **** the body type mentality that his daddy & Ward had.

He should have gotten in there with Martinez, I think he'd have been relatively competitive. He is slighlty pampered, but not as much as Canelo.

Lee is with Top Rank, he will make the fight exciting but he is not going to try and win

fight Sergio Martinez if you want respect!

He's a fan friendly fighter, so it's great if he is finally rounding into a good fighter capable of competing at the top of his division. At the very least you know he won't be the reason a fight is boring.

I'm trying to resist, but he's growing on me as well. As long as he keeps stepping up in competition.

aside from sergio.....it's not like they're really keeping him away from anyone.

and considering the kid is still only 25 and how he's a moneymaker , it's kinda understandable that his team is wary of putting him in against a top 3-4 p4p guy.

to compare him to canelo is a joke.

chavez jr. has fought a couple of solid fighters and is continuing to do so.

he's not fighting any greats but he's not fighting complete bums or washed up oldies either.

zbik , manfredo , rubio , etc. have all been solid opponents.

worldbeaters? no but still solid opponents.

i mean look at who serg has been fighting since pwill.

he ain't exactly beating hofers either. just not too many big names at 160.

since when does it mean because you're with the same promotional company does it mean you don't try to win?

            stfu

go look up the history of boxing.

you'll find some of the best fights , a lot of them were promoted by the same company.

he has a chin. he's big. he's pretty strong (even though he's not a puncher). he's tough.

and he comes to fight. not much to hate on.

plus the kid has good stamina too.

imagine if he took his training seriously?

that's all the kid needs is to take his training seriously.

I still don't think he is that good and the boxing business does try and give him every possible advantage but if he fought and beat Lee I would consider him a top 160lber.
