No he wouldn't, and yes he is. Shane would not fight for free, and he is just a stepping stone. Let's just hope he gets KO'd and then retires. With that pathetic performance against Pac, why is shane getting a title shot?

If Mosley is serious about fighting for free he should donate his purse to charity. But he's not going to do that because he knows he won't win and this is his last paycheck before he calls it a career. It's a shame for Mosley, who was once so very great to be reduced to an opponent who's fed to up and coming young stars to build on their record. Maybe Naseem will be in his corner but after reading what he said about the fight maybe not. He didn't sound to exuberant about Mosley's chances.

I Believe Every Word Mosley Speaks; He'll Embarrass Canelo!

Remember how he destroyed Margarito when nobody else would fight Margarito. Mosley is a Pro. He'll give Canelo a boxing lesson like Hopkins did to Kelly Pavlik.

The Racket Squad: The Shame of Shane.

Mosely needs a final payday and Saul's advisor's have no intention of putting him in tough. The flaws Alvarez displays run deep.
Anyone near their prime, with skill and will, would expose Canelo and take him to the woodshed.
Shane is simply too old to deliver such a lesson.
Therefore, the cash cow will remain untested and without in ring schooling he could use to become a better prizefighter.

I think Mosley is going to do good and win...

Most of the first six rounds, after that he will fade

All of you are crazy! I got Mosley beating Ginger boy. He doesn't have the style to bother Mosley (boxer types). The only exception was Pac, and Mosley just gave into the hype and was damn straight scared to swing back. I got Mosley winning if he doesn't get caught with something big. The end /

No Shane, you are a stepping stone and you would NOT fight for free.

As an Oldskool Mosley fan I would love to see it. But alvarez has that youth on his side. Could this be a Hopkins pavlik all over agaIn.

Last Friday, Mosley reached an agreement to face Alvarez on May 5th, as the scheduled pay-per-view co-feature to Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Miguel Cotto at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
