I'm not sayin Shane wins, but outside of Kirkland and Berto, this is the best opportunity for Shane to redeem himself.

Canelo isn't that good yet, has a questionable chin, poor defense and no movement.

If Shane loses this then he should retire.

If Shane wasnt such a mental midget, then I feel he easily wins by KO/TKO.

At least Mosley is not the main event. I won't pay for another Mosley headlined fight.

Shane after a few rounds cannot pull the trigger anymore

his chin has actually looked pretty decent since he got rocked by jose cotto (when he was still a boy, on a huge stage)

he's all but a man now
the kid actually has a good chin by my eyes

I blame Mayweather... He's just too damn good. I say *** Mayweather, he needs to just move up because nobody beats him from 140-154. He won't even get labeled as the underdog or the betting favorite unless he moves up to MW.

However, just remember that Alvarez doesn't have speed, so he could have trouble with Mosley who will see the punches coming.

Mosley is finished no doubt about it but he's still a dangerous puncher. At Shane's age i would guess that he could fight at a fast pace for about 4 rds before he gases so if he did come out and just go for it from the start, throw the kitchen sink at alvarez then i would give him a chance because remember when alvarez fought Cotto (older bro) he was almost caught cold in the 1st rd and looks a bit chinny and Cotto has zero power & the other aspect is Mosley is 40 years old, making 147 was a huge effort cos he looked pretty dry at the Pacquaio weigh in so he should be more comfortable not shedding those 7 pounds. Remember how he really hurt Floyd with 10oz grants even with Floyd's defensive abilities but also his great survival skills when he's hurt, if Mosley caught Alvarez square like that with 8oz reyes I believe it could be lights out, it's like Hop when he fought Pavlik or Morales when he fought Maidana, never write a great fighter off cos they may still have one great fight left in them.
