That was sarcasm, but really, Roy Jones Jr has more of a GOAT status than Mayweather, and Roy is not even the top 10 ATG list.

Mayweather can never become the GOAT, because he would be favored against anybody from 140 to 160. He's supposed to beat everybody in his path. The only way he would be considered to be the GOAT is if he goes up to 168-175 and beats Andre Ward and Bernard Hopkins right now. Do you think that is possible? No it's not, not even with PED's. Floyd can beat the best around his weight classes, Pacquiao, Martinez, Bradley, Alvarez, Cotto, that wouldn't get him anywhere near GOAT, let alone top 10 ATG. To me, from my limited time watching boxing(late 90's-present) i'd say Floyd is the 2nd best boxer I have ever seen in my time, followed by Hopkins, #1 is Roy Jones Jr.
but he doesn't even fight them. i'm not familiar with too many all time greats who did that. the "i can beat you but i won't greats"

Repeating it, doesn't make it true.

This is the defination of overrated right here. This point may have been valid if Floyd fought the best fighters in every weightclass that he entered. Which he never has. He cherrypicked only those that he needed to.

It's ludicrous to say Mayweather is the GOAT, because other fighters have been just as talented, and just as dominant, while beating better fighters. Floyd is a great, but no where near the greatest. It's blind nuthugging to consider him anywhere near the greatest.

                    You're welcome.

And vegas is the king of boxing right now so whats your damn point. Sorry I didnt capitalize the V in Vegas.
                    Apology accepted.

No one has to come to England to be great.
It doesn't matter where you perceive to be the 'king' and it's nothing to do with England, the simple fact is that no matter what way you slice it a fighter gets more credit for leaving his backyard (and home country) to take on other champions. Whereas other great fighters have done this, Mayweather never did this, despite all his hollow intentions.

He knocked your boy clean out. How good was he in your book?
Home fight, crooked ref, and at 147lbs (when Hatton was a natural 140lber)

Floyd's is as natural a 147 lb'er as Hatton is. His skills are just better.
