Yes I have a massive head and have never been hurt serious at the boxing gym or in any street fight. Bigger head= bigger jaw muscles and a stronger neck to support your heavier head which will help cushion punches.
Having a strong neck and jaw help by doing exercises. You see FLoyd d****d over the ring lifting weights with his neck? That's to lower the shock of punches.

do bigger guys have bigger heads or smaller heads than smaller guys?
bigger heads
obviously that's not all there is to it
and some smaller guys can take a better punch than some bigger guys, but on the whole you'll absolutely find bigger heads on bigger guys and bigger guys taking a better shot
i will say this, the ratio of head size compared to the rest of the body goes down as men get larger
for their size, the smaller guys have much larger heads, and the HW have tiny little heads compared to their huge bodies
A large head weighs more so it would take more force to move it, but if put into motion that means the numbers are larger so the force would end up larger on the brain i.e. more chance of getting bounced off the skull.
