I think he has bad intentions on them, he just prefers to land them before he's properly set up and rely on his arm strength to do the main damage. Seems to have worked well for him thus far.

You win sir. It's all about the kinetic chain.

He also has (had?) good footwork and distancing, where he sets his feet before throwing a punch, making sure he gets full extension on the arm. Timmy doesn't do this. He flurries and throws short arm punches whenever he's in close, lunges when he's on the outside and generally doesn't utilise his body in a synchronous way. It's part of his style of course, and his awkwardness, but it doesn't make for great fight stopping power.

Taller guys tend to get better extension of straight shots, shorter to mid height guys favour the hooks and uppercuts. Look at Tua, Tyson, Abraham, Jackson etc.
Spot on with both those points. Still don't like how so many people think legs are where power mainly comes from.

He really did. Mosley is lucky he had enough hand speed and a good enough chin to get away with it, most of his career.

I think we can all agree that punching is a result of multiple things. Technique, timing, explosive strength, fist size, limb length, bone density, and so on. Truly top level power might be a lucky role of the dice, but there's definitely a science behind punching hard and it's not a one size fits all formula. Bradley most likely could increase his power if he altered a few things. But power isn't the be all and end all of a fight, and maybe he feels that what he's doing at the moment is the winning formula for him, that increasing his power for the sake of a better KO ratio would take away from his game, his akward relentlessness.

I have a feeling that when people say 'legs' they're also thinking of footwork somewhere in the back of their mind, as well as general core strength. Legs can be a massive asset to punching power if you're short and squat like Tua and Tyson were, and tend to punch upwards anyway, or spring in with your punches like Pac. You're not totally lost without them though.

he just choose to use his BRAINS instead of just going in the ring and swinging wildly and looking for KO

it don't matter what anybody thinks about his "POWER" or Lack Of...he is rated #1 by most at 140 and he is Top 10 P4P and he is UNDEFEATED...so what ever Bradley is doing it is clearly working for him

Power can be EXTREMELY OVERRATED especially by fans who go crazy over 1 Knockout...where the *** was Carl Froch Power that entire Super 6 Tournament? As well as Arthur Abraham's? Froch scored NO KO's in the Tournament and Abraham did not win another fight after knocking Taylor out, Pacquiao haven't scored a Clean Knockout since Hatton and that was at 140

You still have to land with that Power Regardless of how much you "HAVE" and a lot of times if these Powerful Brawlers can't land with that Power, they usually STRUGGLE in their fights

So Bradley doesn't have to change ANYTHING (besides maybe try to avoid headbutts lol), if he can safely score the KO without putting himself at Risk then yeah he might go for it, but if he is winning comfortably and has completely control of the match...it would be ****** to start Swinging Wildly just to make SOME Fans happy

Foot work also tends to help. There is no exact science to punching powers because so many fighters have found it in so many shapes and body sizes but legs seem to be less of a factor.
really???have you ever thrown a punch???if so you'd know the power comes from the legs and hips first

Bradly thinks hes bigger stronger and more powerful that pacquaio! lol!

i read some article where bradley is talking about his muscle mass and how he is bigger than pacquaio and i couldnt stop laughing...how many KOs does dude have at 140? and he certainly didnt look like a killer at 147 against abregu. it so obvious how this fight will turn out, hes not gonna able to hurt or bully pacman and then hes gonna get hit and run for 12 rounds in a mosley like performance. hes a good fighter but he needs to stay at 140 where he can beat guys like khan. im not paying for this fight.
