Hence the reason why i said at least Pac didnt ask Cotto to come down to 147!
148 is not the middle, its a catchweight just over the 147 limit so he could fight for a 154 title. Lets be fair here.

Are you saying Pacman chose Cotto because he wouldn't fight at 154 & chose to meet him in the middle & didn't ask him to come down to 147, even though the highest Pacman would fight him was at 148??

So meeting in the middle is now 1lb over 147, got ya.

I understand, but when youre dealing in CWs the official limits go out the window. Pac normally comes in at 142-145 at most. So the middle is really depending on Pacs weight which hes more comfortable at 142-143ish ....the beauty of CWs...

The only thing that could possibly make it more exciting is if Pac comes back with some of that old fire he used to have, keeps Bradley from tying him up and goes back to his old tazmanian ways. Unfortunately, since the Margarito fight IMO, he hasn't fought with the same desire and passion he used to. I don't know if Margarito took something out of him with the weight diff/body shots or Pac felt bad about destroying Margs face or maybe both... but IMO he hasn't been the same fighter since that fight. And Roach has already voiced concern about Pac having the motivation for fighting Bradley, so we'll see. But, I don't see Pac steam rolling Bradley at all. And if Pac doesn't come in highly motivated he could have some troubles TBH.
pacmans perfomance declined since d steroid accusations surfaced

The middle of a catchweight fight between 154 & 147 is not 148, period. Just admit you were wrong & move on.Your original post said (since it's Cotto you were talking about, I guess) as follows:

Manny chose Cotto to fight at a catchweight in the middle because he wouldn't fight at 154. But Manny did in fact want Cotto at 147 & the highest he would fight Cotto is 148.

That's the reason Cotto declined & Arum chose Bradley. Therefore your correction was wrong, 148 is not meeting in the middle & Pacman did in fact want to fight Cotto at 147, thus his mannyweight being only 1lb over.

CWs suck man i know.... as long as both fighters are comfortable with it I dont see a problem. One may no good going up, and one may not be no good going down. So the middle is where the they make their deal. The weight they are most comfortable at is business they talk about behind close doors. Going down id always looked at as bad. Not many people frown on going up to much. Only if the fighter is lack luster !

Is that you in your avatar? Because id understand then why you are having problems understanding anything. I know you have a selective way of thinking and have issues thinking out side the box, but really bro its not that hard to understand. Normally when someone finally gets it they are afarid they will look ******. So they try to confuse the matter with conflict.
