Yes,oh and btw,he did use the same tactics he used when he fought Kotelnik..Peterson is a better fighter is all..Comment

Peterson knows how to cut off the ring. If he uses his jab a lot more this isn't a close fight.
I'm sorry but Kahn is not that good. All that dam galloping in the ring because you don't know how to fight on the inside. Never mind the headlocks.Comment

khan uses that same flurry then run away and cover up style in EVERY fight.... he has no real ring IQ.... he's fast and strong but he's has a terrible boxing brain (compared to his counterparts)Comment

People, lets not forget that Khan would have won the fight if it wasnt for those two points deductions.........he almost had Peterson out of their in the 8or 9th round also.
Khan will win the rematch IF he stops with the ****** bravado on the ropes. He needs to get down to business in the centre of the ring behind a nice jab, and movement and Lamontwon't be able to hand him with the speed differencial.Comment

Khan never came close to stopping Peterson, that's a lie..Let's also not forget the B.S.knockdown..Which means it would have been a draw if neither B.S. action happen..The B.S.knockdown,and the second point deduction, because the first was the right move by the ref..Ya can't push ya opponent 50 times with ya arms extended...People, lets not forget that Khan would have won the fight if it wasnt for those two points deductions.........he almost had Peterson out of their in the 8or 9th round also.

Off course, i agree that Petersons pressure made Khan run. That's how he won the fight bro
All i'm saying is Peterson can't maintain that type of pressure for a full 12 rounds. That much pressure and taking what Khan is throwing back (don't think Amir is feather-fisted for a second) takes a lot of stamina. There will be rounds which Lamont will have to take off. The question is does he win 6+ rounds and not get seriously hurt along the way. I really wish AK would sit on his punches more, he'd be a much better fighter imo even if he had to sacrifice his speed a bit.Comment

The more I watch Khan fight and brainstorm about his style, I believe that his under-developed inside-game is the least of his worries, and this issue might not be something that he can readily change. We all talk about how it's in a fighter's DNA to quit (Judah, Ortiz, etc). Well, what if it's in Khan's DNA to run? lol. Khan use his legs to get away from his opposition, and on the offense, his instinct is to let his hands go in flurries with his in-and-out buzz-saw style. When Khan starts to feel the pressure, his fight or flight instinct kicks in, and the dude is all over the ring. He loses his composure, and his foot-work gets really sloppy. Then, that's when he starts pushing and holding, trying any way possible to get his opponent off of him. Khan and Peterson are cut from a different cloth, and I think Lamont is built to beat him. Peterson was making some mistakes, but Khan's instinct was not allowing him to take the risk of being hit, just to take advantage of Lamont's errors.Comment
