cotto doesn't have one punch power.

i've also thought of that...there's no 'devastating' punch that would level floyd

maybe i should change it to 'i hope Floyd gets really really old overnight' instead

So are you picking Cotto then?

The title of this thread is 5 reasons why Cotto has no chance. I make this a 65/35 fight in Mayweather's favour.

Cotto could pull of an upset if he has the right gameplan.

i'm hoping for a fluke dq loss.

floyd slips and tears his acl or something and can't continue.

It says that he's now a 154lber and would have had trouble making 147 for a rematch with Pac. Cotto is known to put on some lbs in between fights. If he's walking around at around 165 now, getting to 147 would be quite a task for him. This is why i'm happy the rematch isnt going down.

I know what the title of the thread is.

                I asked you a question.

                More like 95/5.

i always order every big fight.

i don't think cotto is very good but that doesn't mean it's a bad fight.

people get too into this "________ has no chance" stuff.

not every fight can be a pick 'em.

if ali only fought fights where the other guy had a chance...... he'd have like 10 fight career.

Floyd will try and draw the jab, Cotto can't over reach so his timing footwork judgment of range has to be spot on.
Floyd will lander higher than 43% for this fight.

The big difference is that Floyd cuts down the opposition workrate as well. So not only will he be getting hit, but he will have a really hard time of finding Floyd in order to trade shots. How Cotto will handle the frustration is going to be the key thing to watch during the fight.

There were a few occasions against Ortiz where Floyd left his chin up and open to be hit, fortunately for Floyd Ortiz was not smart enough to take advantage.
