Floyd left Bob Arum to secure a fight with Oscar De La Hoya for 20MIL. Bob was offering Margarito up at the time for 8MIL but didn't want to make the Oscar fight. Floyd bought out of his contract, got the same 8MIL for fighting Baldomir the Lineal WW champion. Beat him and got the Oscar fight for 20MIL. Do you call that a duck? I know I don't. Bradley turned down 1.5 MIL to fight Khan, left Gary Shaw to make possibly 5MIL to fight Manny Pacquiao. Do I call that a duck? No. Oscar and Pacquiao were/are better opponents then Margarito/Khan.

I was asking Twako because as you know he is one of the pac swallowers who always calls out floyd for ducking. Bradley does the same thing Twako criticizes floyd for yet says nothing. I just wanted to see if it was "ducking" he was truly against.

To your post the difference is Bradley still gets the Manny fight if he beats Khan because he was a free agent after the fight. Floyd couldn't have gotten to ODH staying with Bob because Bob said he couldn't get floyd $20 mil.

Bradley did not duck Khan...He leaped over him and got himself a bigger payday and a bigger fight...BEFORE KHAN lol

He is laughing all the way to the bank while Khan is trying to redeem himself against Bradley's Left Over (Lamont Peterson) so Bradley is having the last laugh right now

I am all for a fighter making as much as possible. But Bradley got less to fight Casamayor than Khan and, had he won, could've negotiated more from TR.

Bottom Line...HE WANTED TO GET AWAY FROM GARY SHAW...AND HE DID and now he is going to get a fight with Pacquiao and a nice Pay Day...So regardless of what "COULD HAVE BEEN"...why in the HELL would he fight Khan for the Money HBO was Guaranteed to pay him regardless of who he fights next? HBO wanted to get the fight for Cheap that is all, looking back...how ****** would that have been with Bradley getting $1+ Million to fight Khan with a lot of Belts involved, compared to Peterson now getting up to $3 Million to fight Khan in a rematch

I didn't know about extension. I have no problem with wanting to get away from SHaw.

Again, the point is for all those who criticcize mayweather for doing this then say its ok for Bradley. It's not about Bradley, although I think he lost some luster by backing out the Khan fight.
