How does Cotto deserve a host at Mayweather? Who has Cotto beat since his fight with Pacquiao? Lets be honest, who? What other title holders at 154 did Cotto fight? Did he fight Bundrage? No. Did he fight Alvarez? No. Did he fight Dzinziruk? No. Did he fight other contenders in the division like a Lara, Angulo, Kirkland, Trout, or even a Vanes? No. Even fringe contenders like a Rodriguez or Wolak? No. He fought 2 shot to pieces on the level of Casamayor maybe even worse with Margarito just having one eye. And, that was enough to be not only an option for Mayweather but for Pacquiao also.

Cotto never unified. And, probably really isn't truly #1 or the best in the division. But, again this is a business. You make your money when and anyway you can.

Why doesn't Martinez fight Pirog. But, keeps on calling out Mayweather, Manny, Cotto, and Chavez Jr. Because, he understand that his window is closing and is trying to make his money. I fully expect Martinez to fight from here on out the Barker and Macklins of the World until one of the top money players steps up.
Well when you look at it that way, Who has Mayweather fought to get a shot at the 154title? Nobody since DLH and it doesnt matter because this is a busine$$

You think any of those alphabelts matter? AT ALL? In the days of Diamond belt, Super golden interim belt, Bronze triple uranium belt, Catchweight at anything I deem neccesary belt?

And who the fucck is Khan to dictate ANYTHING?

Would have I liked to have seen Bradley vs Khan? Of course.

But some of you clowns are acting like all roads lead through a 1st round knocked out, wouldn't rematch, beat the corpse of Barrera, ran for his damn life against Chino in the last rounds, fought a close fight against Peterson, is some kind of uber crushing cyborg.

      You want a hug?

Bradley reeled in a big fish.

Who has Mayweather fought to get a shot a title since DLH? Is that what you asking me?

The titles are props, they're a dime a dozen. Look at Margarito-Pacquiao and Alvarez-Hatton. How is Martinez not the WBC and WBO Middleweight champion?

Is not about the titles is about the money.

It's not about "IF" Floyd deserves a shot at Cotto's "title." Is "IF" Cotto deserves a shot at a Mayweather payday.

It was never about if DLH deserve a shot at an opponent title. Is if they deserve a shot at a DLH payday.

And, yes it is a business. It is more of a business than a sport believe it or not or whether you like it or not.

This right here. People still believe that belts matter. Belts don't matter anymore. With all these multi-belts and different organizations with corrupt people running it and crooked rankings. These belts are worthless when you become an elite level fighter or a star.

Not to justify Pac and Floyd's choice of opponent, but who else should they have fought? Risk JMM beating Pac again, but this time officially? Floyd - Canelo? I'd watch it, but I'd prefer for Canelo to fight a relevant fighter first. Pac and Bradley makes the most sense to each. Pac doesn't have to worry about fighting a "giant" or JMM..and Floyd doesn't have to fight Martinez at 154..yet.

Now, what's interesting to me is that Floyd's fight is much more marketable IMO...but will he try to negotiate a catch weight with Pac after wards? "50-50, but fight me at 150-154" or something? Then fight Martinez as his last fight if he doesn't get Pac? Pretty smart imo... Where does Pac go after Bradley if not Floyd...Ortiz-Berto? Floyd has put himself in a great spot with Cotto..if he wins, he can catch weight Canelo, Martinez, and make the smaller guys move up (Pac).

I don't really care about Floyd making it happen with Pac anymore, I'd rather see Martinez - Floyd at 154.

Pacquiao is the only way for big money. Anybody who fights him can retire comfortably.

Bradley made the right choice. Khan ain't nothing special to be ducking. I always felt like Bradley could beat Khan but was a lil su****ious because of how he avoided the fight but it was all about business and should be obvious. Have to level up and promoters like Shaw and Diabella ain't cutting it because all they are trying to do is latch on to promoters like Arum and Golden Boy to make their fighters and themselves big money,so might as well skip straight to the big dawgz. I give Bradley a shot at beating Pacquiao. To me it is 50/50. Pac ain't been fighting guys who cold really challenge him until Marquez and we all witnessed how that turned out. People are really caught up in the Pac hype. Why would I believe Manny will KO Bradley when he hasn't yet fought a fighter like Bradley? Same mistake people made with Marquez by thinking he was shot. Style wise Bradley is a nightmare for Pac. His movement, conditioning and stamina alone is going to push Pac to the limits. Don't believe me? Just wait and see.

That time he had to fight Khan for $1.5 mil he fought nobody. That time is gone which means he can't make it up. So even if he fights Khan next, and it will not be for $1.5 mil this time, he can't make it up because that was a section of time he could have had a fight and instead didn't.

So yes, he is making very good money his next fight. Way more than $1.5 most likely.

BUT, that doesn't take away from the fact he left that $1.5 mil on the table.
Yo man! do you honestly believe what you are saying or are you just a mild hater? Bradley left 1.5MIL on the table for 5MIL plus PPV revenue. He ain't missing nothing. Add on top of that all of the exposure and endorsements and the fact of what he will start making if he holds it down in the ring against Manny. You are bugging. If Bradley wins this or even makes Manny go all out then Khan will be taking less money to fight Bradley then he offered. This is chess homie not checkers.
