Lamont rejecting a lucrative two-fight deal (one against Marquez) means Amir Khan is the one offering the most money, which means Amir Khan is the one calling the shots when it comes to money.
Amir agreed to split 50/50 with Lamont only because he lost the fight but he clearly does NOT need Lamont to continue making money. Amir was a millionaire even before he came to America. Can anyone say the same about Tim Bradley the head ****ing ducker? Or Lamont or any of the contenders at 140Ibs.
Having said that, Amir will get beat again by Lamont simply because Lamont is a better boxer.

I am only reflecting on FACTS about money and who the draw is.

I think JMM just wanted a tuneup fight before Peterson.

              War Amir!

Props to Peterson for taking the rematch though. I really wasn't convinced he would after how long it has all dragged out

People jump in to ****** conclusions, from day 1 after the fight Peterson said he'll re-match Khan but wanted to wait for other offers to see whats best for his career, now he accepts, Peterson this time round will leave no doubt.

I'm suprised Peterson turned down a Marquez fight.

Seems to be that it's an amazing opportunity for Peterson to fight a legend whilst he's argubaly the #1 fighter in the world currently coming one of, if not the best performances of his career.

I mean, it's not like the risk factor isn't there with Khan. Khan will most likely win the rematch, IMO.

But, I'm still glad he went with the rematch because in all honesty, their first fight needed a rematch.

Where does this leave Marquez now?

Its a shame he could have fought Marquez and Pacquiao.
