His hands are faster, but the JMM footwork was supreme, controlled the distance, and Marquez kept that up for 12 rounds, so can't question his legs.

My point is that if Bradley decides to follow the Marquez gameplan it will be his undoing.

He is Tim Bradley not Juan Manual Marquez, so fight like Tim Bradley.

Maybe takes some element of Marquez game, but he has to fight his fight and play to his strengths.

Cotto, since his move to 54, has beaten:

      Foreman
      Mayorga
      Margarito

That is enough for you to say that he would be a better fight than Bradley because he is at a better weight? Get real. He hasn't fought anyone at that weight.

Further, Bradley is not a "140 pounder." He will come in to the fight bigger than Pacquiao, as he just said in this very article. You are arguing two separate points in a weak attempt at justifying your ridiculous position... Typical Floyd fan.
I dont totally discredit Mannys victory of Cotto. What I didnt like was the way Team Pac, Arum, and the WBO bullied Cotto into making the weight cut. The weight was so much of a problem Cotto didnt want to put his title up. Manny even offered to pay Cottos sanctioning fees. So you cant say the weight wasnt the issue because it was an issue. It wasnt the only reason why Cotto lost but it was a factor.

there is no real difference between mayweather/hatton and pac/bradley. anybody who tries to argue otherwise is a blind nuthugger. but that accurately describes u anyways, mr. jabs dont count.
Hatton's strength at 140lbs was his size, the way he could bully his opponent, and push them around.

At 147lbs that strength was severely diminished.

Bradley is main strength is not his size advantage over the other light-welters.

Many people thought Collazo should have got the nod over Hatton when they fought.

Bradley never been in trouble at 147lbs.

And Pacquiao is smaller than Mayweather.

          P4P top 10

          Pacquiao
          Donaire
          Martinez
          Mayweather
          Marquez
          Ward
          Wlad
          Vitali
          Hopkins
          Bradley

          Cotto makes the top 13/14

Excuse me if I'm not jumping for joy over Floyd fighting a guy who's been KO'd twice. Bradley has fought top opposition at 140 since Hatton was a big deal so yeah he's fought the best just not big names. I already know Cotto was drained vs manny it doesn't change the fact that he suffered a KO. Mayweather-Cotto is decent but like I said Manny outdid Floyd this time by fighting THE MORE DANGEROUS fight. And no Cotto is not top 10 P4P in my eyes after a Pacquiao beatdown and 3 consecutive wins over fighters that weren't elite. Cotto is good and the 154 lb weight is a good selling point but its not the same as fighting an undefeated fighter who's been knocking off other undefeated fighters like Lamont Peterson, Devon Alexander, etc.

They didn't bully him at all. Roach wanted the fight at 143/144 Cotto negotiated in up to 145lbs a weight he felt he could make since against Clottey he was 146lbs.

Did the WBO do anything at all, if Cotto would have turned up 147lbs they would not have stripped up would they.

I don't recall that he has weighed in on fight night for years. He usually refuses. So we don't know his fight night weight. Considering his size and build, it could easily be 155 or more. He does this deliberately to perpetuate the myth of the unbeatable, lighter than anyone else, superman. Also not doing anything he doesn't want to.....like a child.

Oh no once a fighter starts talking about size with pacyow its all over Bradley is going to get stomped he doesnt even have JMms power he certainly doesnt have the technical skills of a JMM either, bradley is no JMM, Jmm beat pac by taking away his strenghts through technical means and clean punching, Tim is already talking "strong" and size" thats going to play into pacs strenghths -brawling, pacs head is the size of a heavywight he has a good chin bradley aint gonna beat pac at duking it out thats for sure!

                    • What do you think? If Pac's refusing to fight Cotto at 154, do you think it's because Pac's camp thinks Cotto ISN'T more effective at 154? Come again?
