What big advantages did Manny have?

So Pac walks around at 150ish to 153, which would be his normal weight, if that's the case, why wouldn't he fight Cotto at 150? that's 4lbs off the 154 Cotto is at already, why the need for the extra weight loss?Comment

You ****ed up. Own up to it.
You screwed up the results of the Mosley Mora fight because you didn't watch it, just like you didn't watch Margarito-Garcia, Cotto-Clottey, Cotto-Jennings, Hatton vs. Malignaggi or Lazcano, De La Hoya-Forbes, or Hundreds of Thousands of other Boxing Matches that didn't involve Floyd, Manny or Tyson because you aren't a real boxing fan, because you don't really enjoy this sport like people who have immersed themselves in the sport do, whether it's just watching 1000s of hours worth of tape, or stepping in the ring, or both.
You think all good foot movement has to do with it jumping around.
You wouldn't know what a good jab looked like if it hit you in the face.
You haven't the slightest on how to properly score a fight, knowing only what it looks like when one guy is overwhelmed, and the other isn't, and you stare blankface everytime you watch it, because you dunno what to say, cuz (again) you don't really grasp what your watching.
You don't see contrasting styles in the ring, or strategy. You just see the same thing you see when you look at rock um sock um robots, two objects hitting each other, cuz you have no eye for intricacy, because (again) it's not something you truely and passionately immerse yourself in, or even so much as casually follow.
You care only about Manny Pacquiao, and you only do it because you feel it's what you have to do, like it's some unspoken duty of Honor. Supporting your countryman. Saying how humble he is, even though he has paintings of HIMSELF in his own house, his propensity to drink and cheat on his wife, and has his face plastered on every part of the phillipines that isn't covered in jungle (and probably even some of the places that are).
All you know if Pac-Floyd, cuz that's all you care about.
Feel free to leave the subject of Boxing alone altogether whenever you're ready. Doesn't want you and it doesn't need you.

Free Will? Really? So Margarito had another fight just sitting there with that kinda of pay....they're professional boxers trying to get paid. You act like they don't sign contracts with promoters....so that free will crap doesn't work. Let's be real man.

Shes the one who said he walked around at 150-153.
Surely you read the quoted post from the post you quoted...Comment

okay so looking at the opening thread it seems to me like you're trying to prove that Manny was either on a level playing field or at a disadvantage
I disagree
starting with
David Diaz: Won 9 straight until Manny moved up a division and Ko'd him in 9rounds.
First he was largely considered the weakest of the Lightweight champions and since he was a Top Rank guy it was an easy match up
in fact when he fought on the JMM Pacquiao II card he was already being talked about as Manny's next opponent rather than rematching JMM
now to back up my claims about Diaz being a weak titlist let me offer you
1. he won the interim belt against Jose Armando Santa Cruz in a fight where he was woefully behind and only when SC gassed did he stand a chance.
2. had a questionable decision against Ramon Montano where he looked hittable sluggish and if I remember correct was swollen up pretty bad. Before you go to boxrec to look this up I was there ringside to watch this fight
3. you lied about 9 straight wins. He actually had a draw against literal unknown Ramazan Paliani in between
4. during this incorrectly stated 9 fight winning streak he fought two guys with losing records (after being smoked by Kendall Holt) and Mr Juan Polo Perez. No before you go boxrec Mr Perez while yes he was a title holder he held that title it was at 115 and in 1989. In fact, when Diaz fought Perez, Perez was in the middle of a streak where he lost 23 of his last 24 fights
so inspite of you using boxrec to tout the virtues of David Diaz actually seeing the fights and the fighters tell a totally different picture
would you like me to go to the next fight on your list I am ready to pick clean?Comment

So Mosley was good against Floyd because he beat the disgraced cheater, but shot, old against Pacquiao a year later??
What about the Clottey fight??I missed your opinion.
A twelve round shut out over Clottey, 120-108 isn't a good performance with no advantages??
I recognize Clottey "shell defense" style was tailor made for a fast fighter with a high workrate BUT still a good win.Comment
