okay so looking at the opening thread it seems to me like you're trying to prove that Manny was either on a level playing field or at a disadvantage
I disagree
starting with
hmm where to being with this one.
First he was largely considered the weakest of the Lightweight champions and since he was a Top Rank guy it was an easy match up
in fact when he fought on the JMM Pacquiao II card he was already being talked about as Manny's next opponent rather than rematching JMM
now to back up my claims about Diaz being a weak titlist let me offer you
1. he won the interim belt against Jose Armando Santa Cruz in a fight where he was woefully behind and only when SC gassed did he stand a chance.
2. had a questionable decision against Ramon Montano where he looked hittable sluggish and if I remember correct was swollen up pretty bad. Before you go to boxrec to look this up I was there ringside to watch this fight
3. you lied about 9 straight wins. He actually had a draw against literal unknown Ramazan Paliani in between
4. during this incorrectly stated 9 fight winning streak he fought two guys with losing records (after being smoked by Kendall Holt) and Mr Juan Polo Perez. No before you go boxrec Mr Perez while yes he was a title holder he held that title it was at 115 and in 1989. In fact, when Diaz fought Perez, Perez was in the middle of a streak where he lost 23 of his last 24 fights
so inspite of you using boxrec to tout the virtues of David Diaz actually seeing the fights and the fighters tell a totally different picture
would you like me to go to the next fight on your list I am ready to pick clean?
