Devon Alexander run off opponents

Carl Froch reguarly gets lauded on here for his run off opponents and rightfully so but why then all Devon gets is being called a ***** by some 30year old who still lives with his mom.You may not like some of the decisions but give hime credit for fighting the best

Might not be as good as Frochs but still deserves credit for fighting good fighters and i dont like Chino fight for 10 rounds but Maidana's latest ever KO was in the 8th the majority are 4th or before

Ya he should be 0-3 in his last few fights but he aint and its not like hes trying to protect himself now after those losses hes fighting Maidana

Thats a fair point but if it was the case of just surviving to the bell and winning some rounds then it wouldnt be wise picking two huge punchers in a row

What's ironic is alot of the same folks player hating on Alexander for his supposed "gift descisions" are sucking on Maidana nutts, as if he were never the beneficiary of a gift descision or two.

The only difference is, Maidana needs gift descisions to beat washed up fighters like Morales & Chop Chop (who Alexander dominated a few years earlier BTW), while Alexander's disputed wins are against prime "elite" opponents. The circumstances of Maidana's disputed wins are FAR worse considering the difference in level of opposition.

And if Maidana ever fought Matthysse or Bradley, he would get an even worse beating from those 2 than the one Alexander's gonna lay on 'em at the end of this month.
