Looking forward to both fights, as you probably are as well. I expect Manny to win, but of course I'll be rooting for Bradley, he's one of my favorite fighters right now.

Shane beat Mora? When???????? Shane got humiliated against Mayweather and then managed a draw against Mora. Since when is a draw considered a win? Your point has been smashed.

Point Made!
Saying that Margarito is a "mexican warrior" is like saying that Clottey is a "zulu warrior". It doesn't do a thing for their careers except give them cool nicknames. Margarito's only notable win came over Cotto. THAT'S IT! A man with one win is nothing special. Margarito is really the mexican Leon Spinks. Your point is smashed.

Juan Manuel Marquez beat Manny Pacquiao three times arguably. The sad part is that if one watches the fights, the only fight in which Manny actually looks like he had a chance of winning was the first fight where he knocked JMM down 3 times. Aside from that, JMM has edged out Pacquiao three times. This last fight was just embarrassing. Anyone watching that fight saw Juan Manuel sniping Pacquiao EVERYTIME Pacquiao tried to get something going.

Manny's stablemate, Amir Khan, was on broadcast admitting that Pacquiao had lost, but changed his mind after the decision was announced. Official decisions aren't always correct. Just look at Paul Williams/Erislandy Lara.

And when you have filipino pac fans apologizing in the lobby of the arena immediately after the fight on camera, that tells a bigger story than the judges scorecards IMO because filipino pac fans are EXTREMELY PROUD. To see them humble themselves in such a manner on television was a bigger shock than the outcome.

Still, because JMM did not get the nod that he rightfully deserved, your point here is NOT smashed. It is just VERY arguable despite nearly every writer, boxer and pundit stating that they scored it for JMM.

I actually agree with you here. You have a point. I have to applaud Manny Pacquiao for taking on a fighter who is on top and undefeated as this goes against Pacquiao's usual M.O.

However, it has to be noted that Pacquiao is not doing anything special. Top boxers are ALWAYS supposed to do what he's doing now .. seeking out the #1, #2 & #3 in any division they compete in. Pacquiao should NOT get any extra credit for finally stepping up to the criteria he SHOULD HAVE BEEN living up to years ago.

In fact, through observation it seems that Manny Pacquiao is ONLY willing to face a reigning top 3 boxer if and ONLY IF his opponent is naturally a small guy. JMM being a LW. Bradley being a jrWW.

Manny NEVER faced a top fighter at WW until JMM came up to WW to face him. And technically, JMM was not a top WW. Marquez was a top LW who made the effort to challenge Pacquiao at WW because Pacquiao stipulated the meeting be at WW for an advantage.

For a guy who is constantly claiming to be so small, that was a b!tch move on Pacquiao's part. And he still got embarrassed by JMM who, according to Roach and Ariza, had no chance even if God was in his corner.

Going down to face Bradley is a weak choice when you've billed yourself as a sort of "giant killer". If you can hang with the big boys, you make yourself seem desperate by choosing to seek out smaller competition.

The Margarito fight demonstrated just how desperate Pacquiao is to be seen as matching Floyd's REAL accomplishments. Arum propped up a banned cheater who had been knocked out in his last fight to somehow legitimize a so-called 8 division run?

      LOL ... that's pretty pathetic.

I give props to Pacquiao for fighting a young, undefeated, unified champion who is in their prime. Bradley is a tough fight- though certainly not the one everyone wanted to see. But what can Pacquiao do with Mayweather making offers he knows Pacquiao won't accept? Bradley is also top ten p2p---victor ortiz was none of those things, and it was a lame fight to boot.

LOL .. I can't recall anyone claiming that Ortiz was anything special. So the fact that you felt the need to dispute that is very telling.

Ortiz wasn't special, but he was 24 years old, the #2 WW champion of the world and he did come in the fight against Floyd at around 168lbs.

That alone made him a legitimate challenger. Let Pacquiao fight Ortiz at 168lbs. It won't ever happen because Pacquiao doesn't have that kind of heart.

          That's why he's fighting Bradley at 140lbs.

Wow! before this fight was signed people on this sight was saying how Pacquiao would never fight a young African American fighter, how Bradley was the best young fighter coming up and he's undefeated! People were justifying why he deserved this shot, now that Pacquiao signs to fight him all of a sudden it's a different tune.

Some of you people are unbelievable !

What happened to Pac stans saying "Being undefeated means nothing"

And now they are using that as leverage trying to make Bradley somewhat credible.

                  "Undefeated lion" rofl.

                  Contradictions everywhere.

The difference is that Floyd isn't asking Cotto to weaken himself before the match to have a better chance of winning.

                      Only cowards do that.
