For his size his power is a little bit above average at best. About his chin, let's not forget that he fights as a CW, while his opponents fight as LHWs or SMWs, so actually he's taking punches from smaller guys. At SMW he would be taking punches from guys that are about his size, but that have a lot more punching power than the average MW. Froch is a pretty solid puncher for the SMW division and I think he should be able to test Jr's chin.

Body punching? Yes, Jr is pretty good at doing that, but he's also able to land those punches because he's very tall for the division and has a lot of range. Froch is taller than Jr and also has more range than him, so it would be A LOT harder for Jr to land those body punches on Froch.

I think that Chavez Jr and Froch would make for an entertaining fight and be competitive. Froch who has held belts and beat tow of the top SMW and one of the better older warriors in Glen Johnson would have trouble against a body attack I just see that. All the fighters he fought and beat no one has attacked his body. I think if Chavez Jr worked on his jab and stuck too his body attack he could beat a lot of fighters that most would say "no he can't beat him" If he was allowed to come in at.168 he might blow up to 190lbs JCC I am talking about ================LeFtY GuNzZ

I agree Manfredo fought against Joe Calzaghe @ 168lbs, Rubio fought against Pavlik @ 160lbs and Duddy is a blood and guts warrior with a ton of heart. Well said -----------------------> LeFtY

I don't think it would be good for Jr to blow up to 190, he would actually be slow as fuck and even though Froch is not fast, he would be significantly faster than Jr at that weight.

I still think that this fight could be a good one. I think that Froch has gained respect and his rep has grown since his fight with Taylor and then the super six performance he has shown the world that he is world class. Both fighters have a good following in boxing and both of their styles are fan friendly. I do not see why this fight would not be entertaining ==========>GuNzZ

I think Froch would dominate this fight.

He's bigger on every account, imo hits harder but even though he's slow, they have comparable hand speed. Plus he has that awkward style he uses and has seen some very, very good fighters so he has the experience factor.

... but then again I thought zbik won, so whatevs.
