    That's Mexico?

It's funny that one of the post mentioned about Chavez Jr and being protected like a baby. and in closing he said "That's Mexico" What the Fk you mean that's Mexico? have you forgoten that in the last 10 yrs only the Mexican boxers are the ones facing the best pound per pond boxers?
Now if you follow the right phrases understan when merchant says Chavez it's ranked on 4,5 or 6th in the rankings. why would a top level fighter like Martinez be so desperate to fight him?

I think a Chavez/Margarito fight would be terrible, but not for what happens in the ring. Oh no, I'm talking about what happens outside the ring.

Margarito may have the heart equal to any other boxer, but he doesn't have the body to match up. His eye is questionable and he's been on the end of beatings for the last couple fights. Chavez knows this, and he knows that possibly that the outcome of the fight has already been decided and is meant to give him another resume name.

If any part of the above is true, we're going to see an incredibly sloppy Chavez.
        - He's not going to train.
        - He's going to go out drinking.
        - He's not going to be focused.
        - He will have trouble making weight again.
        - He's going to look his worst but say that this was his best training camp ever.

Even if he wins he'll look terrible. And the duck train will continue with "My promoter, My promoter, My promoter"

        If I'm wrong, tell me

            Class

Larry Merchant has no class. For anyone to refer to another human being as an "animal" is very arrogant and unintelligent. Sorry Larry, but if you can't find the descriptive words necessary to make your comparison it may be a sign that you're "losing it." If this is truly the case, much like fighters inside of the boxing ring (that you stand outside of) that begin to display signs of poor performance....PLEASE CONSIDER RETIREMENT!

I'm sure Larry was trying to make a joke, but its also says a lot about you if in your mind a 'good' joke is comparing fighters to human animals.

Actually is it just me, or can anyone else imagine Larry Merchant as an ancient snobby Roman looking down at gladiators?

I would like to see Chavez Jr face Lee next not Margarito, Bob Arum is going to try to sell Chavez Jr vs Margarito on PPV for a low scum bag price of 54.99. I would rather watch Lee vs Chavez Jr on regular HBO.

I would like to see Lee Vs Chavez Jr as well. I think Lee would put a hurting on Jr honestly. He's a much better young fighter. Anyone on here thinking that Margarito moves up and beats Chavez Jr is either smoking opium or they really dislike Chavez Jr because Margarito's style is no way effective against bigger fighters and we saw that when he fought Santos. Margarito has no real arsenal or skill level. Add on that his eye ain't $h!t into the equation and you have another easy fight for Chavez Jr. Anyone saying Margarito has a chance to beat Chavez or be competitive is helping Bob Arum shovel his horse crap.

Yeah great line indeed ha ha ha.

Perhaps he was thinking of saying "cruelty to criminals" but then he changed his mind to "cruelty to human animals" LOL. In any case, Margacheato doesn't deserve another payday.
