it was just for support Im sure, and it should totally be illegal and that judge should be reprimanded for scoring the bout based on ethnicity rather than boxing.

LOL Its a sad day when you have to put (disclaimer: this is NO way a racist post!) at the end of a post like this...

Its in no means racist but some people on here troll/arseholes....

Now this is definitely a great idea!!

by far and away the biggest problem is the mass of sanctioning bodies. Cut it down to one overall body with a super six style tournament in each divison to decide the one and only champ per division and the sport would be back in a big way

          Racism at its finest.

Kidding. I agree with 100%. I would give a green K for this, but I'm bloodied up.

In order for the judge to give Vazquez the 115-112, he had to give him 8 rounds not 7, remember he got knock down.

I think the judge was Mexican.

              1) To many weight classes.

              2) They should take a page from the UFC and have 1 Title per weight class.

Every point that was touched in this thread goes back to one thing, everyone wants a piece of the action $$$$$. Too many people involved who don't care about boxing trying to make money. Sanctioning bodies could care less if their paper champion is recognized as the best in the division as long as they are getting their money and sanctioning fees.

Something else that cannot, and will not ever be fixed is the greedy promoters who don't care for the sport and only want to make the most money possible. They have such a hard time selling tickets that the only cash cows are being protected like there is no tomorrow, but they are quickly running out and will soon be left with nothing. We know there is something wrong with our sport when snooki helps put on a card, enough said.

What happened saturday with chavez was the last straw. This clown has turned into a full blown mayweather vs pacquiao tye saga. First he was given a ranking by fighting nobodies, then he is given a title because....... Then he just flat out refuses to fight legit opponents, and now this?????????

Bottom line, Boxing is quickly turning into a no mans land
