Its really disgusting how the boxing business panders to Jr and gives him every advantage possible whether its legal or not.

Yea but its written in his contract and is expected to happen like it has with him before since he held a WBC belt

That's an outrage. With things like this happening, I don't blame Floyd Mayweather for wanting the tests. Chavez has already been caught cheating. As soon as we hear something like this, we have already convicted him. Those wildcard fighters are dirty.

I hear you. Just goes to show you how corrupt the system is. Honestly RC, most of these guys are doing it right in our faces.

If past fights are any indication, Chavez probably took something to make the weight, thus allowing him to fight as a cruiserweight (181 pound middleweight, is that a record?).

At any rate, the WBC could easily have demanded a test but they're obviously stalling for time until it's too late.

Testing is mandatory in title fights as per the WBC rules.

I guess we know why Bob is so adamant that Floyd and Manny fight in Cowboys Stadium.

So HBO should stipulate that they will not pay for future fights for the WBC title unless proper testing is administered.
Sorry bud, I disagree. As a network they want controversy. Controversy and entertainment sell PPVs and up ratings. It's not their problem to make sure the sport is clean, its the commission. In fact, a crooked commission gives the HBO guys something to talk about. The more controversy about a boxer means more people are interested and more people will tune in.

In fact I guarantee that if Chavez was on PED or any other illegal drugs HBO would be churning out a 'Rise and Fall of a Champ: Chavez' as an HBO special and HBO Real Sports would be talking about this for days.
