Malignaggi deserves a big fight. He's only 31. He's 3-0 since losing to khan. He even has a K.O at 147

    His last 3 wins fighters records: 28-1, 32-2, 36-6

Yeah but its the same routine with Senchenko...won't leave Ukraine, no agreement can be reached so it goes to purse bids...the Ukrainian promoters then offer a ridiculous amount to stage the fight to ensure he doesn't have to travel! Paulie won't go away after the Diaz fight in Texas

Doubt Matchroom have the financial power to bring Senchenko over to the UK when his promoters are offering him $750,000 to fight Malignaggi. Matchroom would probably need to double it to bring him to the UK!

Guerrero vs Paulie makes little to no sense. Where would it be? Cali? Vegas? Atlantic City? Anywhere you put it, it wont sell very well. It's an undercard fight. If Guerrero wins it doesn't really help his cause for fighting Floyd.
They would probably put it on the Floyd-Cotto undercard most likely, or a Khan underard.

My point is that Guerrero has little to no shot right now in even getting fights with Ortiz or Khan, let alone Floyd Mayweather. If he beats Malignaggi, it gets his foot in the door at 147, and then he could return 3-4 months later in August or so, and fight Berto, Alexander-Maidana winner, Jones, Ortiz, Brook, etc.

Fighting Malignaggi and staying active is far better than sitting back and praying for fights with Victor Ortiz and Amir Khan, who have no obligation to fight someone he hasn't done a damn thing at 140, let alone 147.

And this is coming from a Guerrero suppoter. I don't know where Guerrero changed, but he's popping off at the mouth far too often lately.

Guerrero isn't doing himself any favors calling out guys like Ortiz, Khan, who are far more proven than he is.

I originally wanted him to fight Soto or Matthysse at 140, but it looks like they are fighting each other in April instead.

If he's serious about making a jump to 147 for his first fight back, fight Paulie Malignaggi. He was going to fight Senchenko but that's not happening because he doesn't want to travel to Europe. They are both Golden Boy, it would put Guerrero in a position for bigger fights with Ortiz, Berto, Khan, Alexander/Maidana, if he were to win. And I don't see why Paulie would turn down the fight.

Guerrero-Malignaggi should be Robert's first fight back.
I think this would be an excellent matchup, and would be a call out that boxing fans would not be inclined to hate on.

NATAS who is Guerrero anyway the guy that quit mid fight a few years back due to a cut that most would fight on with? Or a guy we should be saying that Paulie does not belong in the ring with? Paulie is a quality boxer if he had a punch to go with it he would be dangerous. I think he can box Guerrero's ears off period.....LEFTY
