Guerrero should shut up and fight Malignaggi.

Malignaggi snot a world beater by any means, but he is a decent fighter. And for a guy coming off surgery who seems like he wants to jump from 135 all the way up to 147 next, he's a good first opponent. Guerrero isn't doing himself any favors calling out guys like Ortiz, Khan, who are far more proven than he is.

I originally wanted him to fight Soto or Matthysse at 140, but it looks like they are fighting each other in April instead.

If he's serious about making a jump to 147 for his first fight back, fight Paulie Malignaggi. He was going to fight Senchenko but that's not happening because he doesn't want to travel to Europe. They are both Golden Boy, it would put Guerrero in a position for bigger fights with Ortiz, Berto, Khan, Alexander/Maidana, if he were to win. And I don't see why Paulie would turn down the fight.

Guerrero-Malignaggi should be Robert's first fight back.

Malignaggi was about to be matched up with Alexander and Maidana, so why not Guerrero???? Yeah, it may not be the most interesting fight, but Guerrero needs anything right now, at this point.

It would be a decent fight for his first back and to get in the door a little bit at 147.

Guerrero-Ortiz.....I'd like to see it, but if Ortiz wins, he beat up on a LW who didn't transition to WW. And if Guerrero were to win, than Ortiz was never that good.

Guerrero needs to fight a journeyman or some sort of contender at 147 before Victor Ortiz, Andre Berto, etc.

Paulie tweeted recentley he still didn't know who was next. I doubt he's going to the Ukraine- shame because i really want to see someone take that WBA belt. Senchenko makes Chavez Jr look like a decent champ he's that bad! Cannot stand paper champs

No, from what I read on BadLeftHook a couple weeks ago was that it likely wasn't happening after Golden Boy lost to purse bid. And Paulie didn't want to travel to Senchenko's turf for a fight.

that would be a horrible fight for television

lots of holding, looking at eachother, feints, etc

i dont think either guy has the power to hurt the other

              boring decision

on the other hand it might be competitive, given guerrero's handicap in size and maglinaggi's fading skills and speed

Nobody wants to fight malignaggi he's a high risk low reward

If you beat him so what cotto hatton khan already did. If you get boxed up and lose to maliganggi which he can do, your career is over

I wish Kell Brook would travel to Sencehnko's turf and take that belt.

He should, after Hatton. Kell needs to step up, or his promoter could offer Senchenko a s**t ton of money to fight Kell in the UK.

Ortiz vs Guerrero is a fantastic fight. Who cares what the excuses will be after there are always excuses no matter what.

Guerrero wants to be in with the big boys, Ortiz doesn't have a dance partner and it's a fight that easily sells in Cali. Makes perfect sense.

Guerrero vs Paulie makes little to no sense. Where would it be? Cali? Vegas? Atlantic City? Anywhere you put it, it wont sell very well. It's an undercard fight. If Guerrero wins it doesn't really help his cause for fighting Floyd.
