        I am not a believer !

I am not a follower nor fan of Mayweather JR.

I sense things about him that make me believe he is the major HYPE JOB of the century !!

He is slick , fast , and smart.

He has not fought a top elite contender in the Welter weight divison in his LIFE unless its ORTIZ !!

This in my opinion was ORTIZ'z fight to LOSE and hopefully he learned something. After he quit against Maidana I quit on him but he won me back with his performance against Berto, but did that make him Elite ?

Many of yall are fooled :

Jr said he liked guys comfortable in their weight ! LMAO !!!!!!

Was Hatton in his weight ? He was proven he couldn't fight WW, but thats what JR had him fight at.

What about JMM ?? JR. Cheated on purpose ,,,,badly, like real bad !!!!

HE ducked a PRIME ELITE COTTO in 2007 and 8 !!!!!!!

HE ducked a PRIME ELITE MARGO same dates and went on vacation or retirement.

HE ducked little Pacman and is consumed with Pac !

NOW he fights a man who has been brutalized by Margo and Pac.

Truth is that all you can say about Jr is that he fights beat up brutalized fighters , washed up fighters , old fighters, little fighters and wee little fighters and ducks anyone that presents a threat !

That speaks nothing of his skills but speaks volumes of his HEART !

His shield is his skills , think with me, the problem is he won't fight anyone that threatens taking that shield away and exposing his heart.

All the running over the years, the ones that came close but no cigar, the punch from Zab, or the Hatton punch or the one from Moses, even ODH who only lost by a point in the worst big fight of the ages, and even ORTIZ who if you watched in slo mo would faint at the sight, because the punches that were said to land did NOT land.

        To all the naysayers:

IF JR is so great, not speaking of his skill but him as a fighter, then why hasn't he in past tense , taken on all comers ??? Why , if he is his own man and can fight anybody, ducked key fighters who presented the threat to dismantle him and expose his heart.

I say take away his shield and you will see a weakly little man that is full of SH!* !

Can a worn out fighter like Cotto do it ?

He still can fight for a few rounds, that cuban trainer may have the plan and discipline to find something to bring down that shield but it will have to be the fight of his life to get that shield down, in my opinion if he don't do it in the first three years its all over.

That being stated, do internet boxing fans need an advanced degree, in order to smell the BS Roach is selling?????

Absolutely not, everyone is entitled to an opinion, no matter where they are. And if Roach is going to represent himself as "Trainer of the year" and "Boxing Guru" he should at the very least consistently present his arguments. But if he's going to present BS ... he deserves all the criticism he receives.

Hence, the reality check, you spoke of, is more needed on behalf of the presenter .... not the audience.
Roach has made a living from boxing...first as a fighter and now as a trainer. The bastard has Parkinson's and is still knee deep in boxing. What do you do for a living?

with that said, after cotto walks through floyds counters, ill be sure to bump all these threads...He may not win, but it will be one competetive fight. Many people are writing cotto off, which is insane imo.
Bet all of your points that Floyd either KO's Cotto,TKO or towel time. I'm just amazed how Cotto became a threat to Floyd in 05/06 when Arum said himself Cotto wasn't ready to fight Floyd AND a prime undefeated Cotto went tooth and nails with a 36 year old Shane Mosley in 07 who pops kept forgetting what round they were fighting in. Floyd would have handed Cotto a whupping from the beginning. Bob Arum made up that Mayweather was ducking Cotto/Margarito like he has for Manny. That's how Bob is getting his money back off of Floyd leaving. Selling him fighters as the guys Floyd ducked. Styles make fights and Cotto never had a style to beat Mayweather simply because Cotto could not adjust effectively once his punch got taken away. Cotto was a puncher until his competition became stiffer. Floyd beats Cotto easily back then and now.

Cotto has earned my respect as a fighter but he has been flawed. He got tagged clean and flush in every big fight he has been in. Floyd is going to back Cotto up and make him rethink. Can't wait to see these guys in the ring together. Cotto got his confidence back from the Margarito fight, a new trainer and he's looking to prove something. It's just sad that once Floyd beats him, the same people who said Cotto has a chance will say he was washed up but Floyd will still be a JMW champ (full limit) for the second time.

Want to bet Mr Avatar biter? How about we make a bet that Floyd beats the crap out of Miguel for the win? If you win, I'll give you 20MIL and if I win. You remove your Avi? It makes me want to vomit every time I see you posting. Don't take it personal but I just dislike biters.

This is the first time that Floyd will fight a pressure fighter with welter power, a solid chin, who is not afraid to get hit, plus who had tons of experience in big fights. This aint goin to be an easy fight for Floyd, like what most people think...

Its 4 years too late, and Cotto is nearing the end of his career, but still a fighter's chin, and his power are the last to go...So I still think Cotto has one big fight left in him to pull of an upset or at least make it a real fight....
