    Why is Maidana an underdog?

Anyone has any idea why is Maidana such an underdog in this fight? My logic says Alexander should be the underdog.
I am just guessing.....they know sth we don't.....maybe

Hometown advantage for Alexander and frankly Maidana isn't that good.

Maidana needs a KO to win but I think he can manage it.

Never been a fan of Alexander and the way he quit (to me) against Bradley shows he doesn't have the heart when it counts.

If Maidana can get to him early then who knows. I'll be pulling for Maidana either way.

I think it's due in large part with him struggling so badly with an aged Morales.

the judges have a history of robbing alexander opponents

              especially in the LOU

and the fight is ten rounds, which, for a pressure fighter like maidana whose power holds until the final round, is a huge disadvantage

There is still no getting around the fact that maidana is gonna do everything he can to try and take alexanders head off.

Maidana may be crude but his foot work is very underrated IMO and have a old world warrior instinct .

Alexander better stick and move or he will get crushed

This, Maidana needs to knock Alexander unconscious. I'm sure he'll have a good swing at it.

Maybe its because he has a history of back problems
