Get a couple highlight reel knockouts on ESPN against bums and that will help him a ton. Outside of a few flukes, almost everyone else in the world had to fight on ESPN FNF, Solo Boxeo, Versus, or on whatever other low grade cable channels before getting on HBO and Showtime. Pirog's problem is that he thinks he could skip all that because he has a paper belt.
You basically want him to go backwards because the top fighters are avoiding him
Pirogs problem is that all the top fighters are too pu$$y to fight him

I thought HBO said they weren't interested in Pirog since he was largely unknown, hell HBO wasn't interested in Martinez and Martinez is more of a name than Pirog. Now that HBO has a new president they have taken Martinez back, but Pirog still needs more exposure, especially since his best win is against Danny Jacobs.
I see a lot of people criticizing Martinez for his wins against Pavlik and Williams, that they both weren't as good as people thought they were, well maybe they weren't out of this world but they were better and better ranked than Jacobs.

what is he ranked now #8 at MW?
Pirogs team said they would gladly fight lara in the US but only if it was on HBO or showtime. Neither network showed interest so the fight never materialized. But let me guess, he should have fought lara on ESPN where lara would gladly fight right

His goal is HBO/Showtime, if not he's gotta get paid man.
And Rigondeaux has 9 wins and people want him to fight Donaire right now.
It's not about total fight numbers, it's about the best fighting the best and a unification. That should be what all boxing fans want.
it depends on what the offer was from Lara. Lara has never fought at 160 pounds before so he's not ranked there. Was HBO or Showtime interested? Did they offer any money? Nope.
and plz dont compare the rigo situation to the pirog one, totally different scenarios.
