Is Marquez a harder puncher than Bradley?

He ain't a natural welterweight, but saying he's not a "Real" welterweight (what does that even mean?) isn't really accurate. He's beat the tar out of some pretty good welterweights and has taken their best shots. Cotto hit him with some absolutely titanic punches and he just grinned them off.pacquiao could probably fight at LW if the money was right
most of the experts i hear speculating about his natural fighting weight think he's somewhere between a LW and jr WW
about 138 lbs
he's eating like a horse to get to WW
he's not a natural WW by a long shot
he can hang with a WW, but he's not a natural WW
and i dont think pacquiao was ever close to being ready to go in the most recent marquez fight
And there's a HUGE difference between being hurt and being ready to go. Nobody's ever had Pac ready to go or even really close, so saying that Marquez didn't doesn't tell us anything. But he's buzzed him pretty bad on multiple occasions.
You have to look at things with some gradation. It's not "Marquez is a massive welterweight ****er" or "Marquez is a bitchmade palooka." He's still got some steam on his punches and, like I've been saying, his accuracy and timing really help sneak a little bit more damage in there. And Bradley IS actually on the extreme end of that scale, he has ZERO pop. Even if he has some pretty good skills and handspeed so that people don't just disrespect him, he doesn't hurt folks too often either.Comment

A legit welterweight who made 143 in his last fight??
Pac is at best a light welterweight, dudes can make 140 easy;
He and JMM were fighting at 130 in 2008...
Marquez wouldn't buzz big framed guys like Clottey or Oldsley.Comment

If you're fighting for titles in the 147 pound division you are a welterweight. You can't have it both ways and claim "he's too small at 147" when he continues to fight in the division.
He might be a smaller welterweight, but he's still a welterweight.Comment

That wasn't the question. The question was who punches harder. And from what I've seen Marquez has shown nothing that would make me believe he has a harder punch. His KO's at featherweight are irrelevant when you're comparing him to a fighter at 140-47. Which is why I said Bradley would knock out a large number of featherweights too.
If Marquez fights Peterson you will see for yourself. I seriously doubt Marquez will hurt Peterson more than Bradley did.Comment

Think this is more of JMM being a great combination puncher, and counter puncher, then from being a huge one shot soloist.
I'm wrong a lot of the times. As far as JMM hitting harder then Bradley?
