Why not? Let Jr have his moment like daddy, the hard competition will come eventually, starting with Rubio.
you are an ignorant b1tch. Just because you don't fight in the US means you fight bums. Ask Haugen. Chavez the best ever Angelo Dundee said it. Floyd is overrated.

When it's all said and done, future generations will look back on boxing in two time periods: BEFORE JR / AFTER JR.

Yeah. The greatest fighter on the planet, is "overrated". Yet you have Canelo as display pic.
            You couldn't make it up.

The greatest fighter on the planet? Says who? American media? BS. Mayweather is a boring fighter who only displays his African athleticism, other than that he runs, hugs, elbows, etc. Gets away with it due to misunderstood racism. No Latino likes him. Canelo is more macho.

he is no different then Hector Camacho Jr...Chavez Jr is just MORE PROTECTED and haven't been Exposed yet but it is going to happen eventually

your going to have to take your Mandatory Fights eventually or else even your fans will start to question you...and that is when he will get exposed for what he really is

his ranking and his title was PURCHASED IMO, the WBC will always make Mexican fighters at PRIORITY, just look how Chavez Jr, Alvarez Jr and even Morales recently, got their titles...FIGHT BUMS!

This is why some people should never post. Chavez Sr. fought a lot but don't think that being active means he fought nothing but bums.

He fought the best of his time in 3 weight classes and beat them all.

I don't care if you have 1000 fights, it's WHO you beat that counts. This is the biggest bull**** when people talk about Chavez Sr, that he fought 50 Mexican cab drivers.

He fought the best of his time in 3 weight divisions. His son isn't him and his career isn't anywhere close to where Chavez was at 30+ fights.

I like Chavez Jr but he's living in the shadow of a legend, not a good thing to crawl out of.

Ok so others that don't share your point of view shouldn't post?
Anyway, Sr won his first title @ 43-0 vs the GREAT Mario Martinez.
At less than less than 30 fight no one knew who the hell Chavez sr was, for you to imply otherwise is hilarious. The second half of his career is what set his legacy. It's obvious Jr wants to do the same.
