I think that it's not how manny fights the superstars put on. Because quite frankly, the best fights in boxing IMO are on showbox or espn. What I think that's killing boxing are the diva like superstars & the clueless fans that support them.

I was walking espn the other day & jim rome called Bradley a straight tomatoe can. Clearly he's a man that knows nothing about the sport. Then people are looking at guys like skip bayless pratling on about stuff that he has no clue about, but people believe him.

Then there are guys on here that me & Walt were arguing talking about hbo's graphics & there crystal clear highdef being why hbo boxing is better than showtime. What about the the damn matchups. Who really cares about graphics, I watch boxing for good quality fights. When have Floyd or Pacman ever been in a fight as exciting as Kirkland-Angul? Who are the bigger stars?

Gimme good matchups, less diva like personas & I'm in heaven, rank over.

I really like you post here. I think you gave a good post on what and why boxing is losing its glimmer. The fact that HBO after dark and Shobox have better match up then the cards on PPV says a lot about boxing. The stars need to think about the sport that made them who they are and try to give something back to the fans and the sport..........GuNzZ
