Kirkland has got a lot of hype, far too much, but then So has canelo.

It would be a good match tbh.

But his wins over Julio and Angullo blow out any of Canelos wins

if Alvarez fights Mosley it just proves that Golden Boy has no faith in their young fighter and they don't want to risk their future cash cow.


I wouldn't call Alvarez a hype job yet but fighting Mosley is a BIG step in that direction considering all of the other more talented fighters at 154.

I for one would like to see Canelo fight Mosley...Although Mosley is shot at this point he can provide Canelo with problems just with experience alone. Im not saying its enough to beat him but it would provide him with a test he has not seen. It would help him develop as a fighter...Kirkland would be an entertaining fight but the March to May turnaround makes it almost a guarantee that it wont be Kirkland. Kirkland to me doesnt offer much as a fighter except excitement. I can see Canelo out boxing him. Angulo had him beat until he punched himself out of the fight. Have Canelo and Mosley fight at the MGM Grand on the undercard...that would add some fire power to that card.

Canelo ko'd ishida in sparring he most likely beats kirkland, kirkland has a mean punch but hes exopsed far more weakness than canelo has,kirklands chin is very suspect and he has no defense,and mosley needs to go away nobody wants to see his handshaking and him getting ktfo by a 20 yr old kid, I do agree canelo would lose to a mayweather but kirkland and mosley are easy prey way easy,kirkland would make it inteesting while it lasts.

Do you guys understand that the fighter must have a name? Find someone thats legit at 154 with a name. Canelo understands that his fans want a legit challenger, with a name. It's slim pickings.

I would like for Canelo to fight kirkland, Mosley pissed me off agains't Pac it was a waste of 60 bucks he should be fighting on friday night fights on ESPN now.
