If Pac fights Peterson, it's way worse than if Floyd fought Canelo, and on par with him fighting Guerrero. Lamont is 2-0-1 his last 3 fights....he really should be 1-2. He really should have lost to Ortiz, he beat Cayo, and he really should have lost to Khan. I don't care what anyone says, and it'll be great to watch JMM school him.

Floyd was smart in fighting Cotto at 154 lbs. It's a very legit fight, one that will sell PPV's, and a name he needed on his resume while he's still good. It also adds fuel to the theory that Bob Arum is what prevented May-Cotto, May-Marg, and May-Pac. A ton of people don't remember that in 05-06, Floyd was calling for a fight with Cotto. But Top Rank said "Miguel isn't ready for Floyd". Than, when Floyd split with TR in 06' and than announced he was retiring after Hatton, they all said "Floyd is ducking Cotto". Now, he's fighting Cotto at 154 lbs, while Cotto is past his prime-still good, so he can say he never ducked Cotto, it was Arum blowing smoke like usual.

But, it won't be Lamont for Pac. Arum just said that he'll meet with people from Pac's camp and Bradley's to negotiate the fight this weekend in San Antonio, and that they have the MGM on hold. What happened to Bob's stadium????????????

As I re-watched Peterson-Khan the victory looked clearer and clearer for Peterson, Oscar didn't win rounds against Tito for spoiling, unfair for Khan to as well. The british commentators, like myself, didn't award Khan with the 11th round, a round in which both landed the same amount almost, but Khan's holding, running, turning his back, pushing the head down, automatically gives the round to Peterson in my opinion. Can't see Khan winning that fight. As for Peterson-Ortiz, the draw was justified, and Ortiz who isn't a boxer choose to box, which put Peterson back in the fight. Had Peterson not been coming off a lay off and the fight were 12 rounds, Peterson would have taken it.

I respect Peterson, good fighter, much better credentials than Canelo or Guerrero, but Bradley is much more accomplished and better all around, which is why I prefer Pacquiao goes that route but feel they may go another route, Peterson. It's how Arum rolls, same with Roach.

I think Pac fighting either Bradley, Marquez or Peterson are all match-ups that could definitely happen.

Marquez would obviously make the most money but I doubt Bob wants that fight considering the gift he received last time.

No matter how much people will say it wasn't a robbery, if they were to fight a 4th time, and the same thing happened, it just wouldn't be accepted.

I'm good with both fights. Of course I would I like to see the aftermath of Pac-May, but if this **** is going to be held up for the umpteenth time over 3 years, this isn't the worse I can see for 140-ish to 154.

Already said I'm buying both, if they go down. I like all four fighter's, and got the disposable income to watch them.

All the "boycott" talk will stop once these fights get close. Watch.

As much as I love Pac (I am an avid fan) his PPV numbers are going to seriously decline in fighting Bradley (though it is a legit fight) compared to May vs Cotto...

I agree. Pacquiao-Bradley is the more legit fight. I like it, you still have a possible 4 man tourney with Peterson-Marquez.

This right here says it all for me, Mayweather is using Pacquiao's name to promote his next fight. People, especially *****s, bites on it hard.

Look at the hook Mayweather is trying to put on this fight, 154. Really, like that really matters, Cotto tried to fight Margarito at 150.

Now that these two match ups are happening, 2012 would look better than last year, I wouldnt mind not having Mayweather-Pacquiao at all, thank you Floyd for choosing Cotto over Canelo, boxing fans will not go through what ifs, its four years too late but its still a competitive fight.
