It's a good win... not as good as it would have been a while ago.... still good. Better than the other two options... so I'll give him that.

floyd will have to answer the martinez question if he stays at 154. Sergio can still comfortably make 154.

As it stands, Pac is the much decorated fighter and ranks higher than Floyd. If floyd wins vs cotto and Pac wins vs bradley, nothing will have changed.

Now if floyd fights sergio that will be a huge name on floyd's resume. If talks restart for the pac fight and floyd starts the we have to fight above 147 then doesnt fight sergio at 154, then we will know that the OP post was right on point.

Floyd cant hide out at 154.

Don't think he's trying to "hide (huh?). Making the best fight available at the weight that most suits his opponent. And yes, I'm sure he's aware that he'll have to answer Martinez questions next. Like I said, Martinez next, or two fights, tops.

This fight does a lot more for FMJ's resume than his last three did for his either.

Now Floyd is "hiding at 154"

I swear you *******s are something else...did your mothers mix paint chips and poisoned water in your baby food or something?

Manny fights for a vacant Manny belt against an unranked suspended fighter at a Mannyweight and he is "Brave giant slayer 8 division world champion"

Floyd fights the #1 ranked JMW at the actual weight for a decent belt and he is "hiding at 154"

I know. I was ready to give this thread a chance when I read that and realized it's just a bitter ******* with a warped sense of reality.

I don't know which one is it. Last week people were arguing on here comparing Floyd's and Cotto's resume. Some people were arguing Floyd has a better resume some were going for Cotto. Now these two are fighting at 154 which is ATM definitely a good weight for Cotto and people saying this is not a legit fight.
On top of that Cotto did really want to fight Pacquiao but he wouldn't go to 154 so he pick Mayweather instead.
