Mayweather is just too cheap.
Stop it with the slave contracts Floyd and give your opponent a fair share.
Canelo is hugely popular, probably accounted for at least 250k of your last PPV he deserves at least 15m
And for all the people saying Cotto, if Floyd is too cheap to pay out Alvarez then he going to be too cheap for Cotto who should command 20m+ if he fights Floyd.
Looks like it could be Guerrero or Morales, Floyd is just too cheap.

i'm already on the record saying that i have no problems with the canelo fight
think about floyd's recent opponents (in hindsight of course,)
ortiz is a complete bonehead
moving up from 140
and you saw how the fight went
mosley was coming off of a big win, but it was followed by a huge layoff
after that fight he fought to a draw with sergio mora. i had mora winning that fight, but i saw it on a junk stream and will never be watching it again. and then manny pacquiao dropped him and shut him out.
and marquez is a bonafide ATG but let be honest; he's a small LW at the end of his career with a style that couldnt be better for floyd (a smaller, slower counterpuncher.)
canelo is at least as risky as these guys
i'd pick canelo to walk right through ortiz resume, without getting dropped twice by berto and knocked out by marcos maidana

Reports that Clottey took 3m from the bout.
And Clottey is pretty much a no name, who doesn't sell. Canelo and Cotto on the other hand.
Looks like Guerrero or Morales could be getting a call soon.

Cotto is th 3rd biggest draw in boxing at the moment, and his stock has grown since Pacquiao fought him.
20 million at the least, and If Floyd thinks his fights can generate more than Pacquiao then it should be more.
Canelo is a monster star in the making, granted more style than substance, but it is the image that sells.
The very minimum he should accept is 12m, if not walk away.
Floyd is pricing his opponents out of the market.

Do you realize that GBP would be giving out guarantees...so you think they'd give Floyd his 30 million guarantee and then give Cotto 20? Or even 15? You're insane.
For the fight to realisticlly be made Canelo would probably have to agree to 3 or 4 guaranteed and Cotto 7 or 8. And I don't think Floyd would want to give Cotto 7 or 8.
