Doesnt matter. Floyd still has to cut both GBP and Al Haymon a percentage.

So when rumors was going around Floyd asked for 100 mil. Wasn't that ridiculous ?

Big difference when you're asking for a $100mil guarantee vs the possiblity of making in upwards of $100mil depending on how well the fight does.

Sadly for Pacquiao, it's nowhere near the same type of deal. Bob Arum recently stated that he gave $5 Million to Pacquiao off the PPV revenue from the Marquez Pacquiao III fight. A fight that Bob Arum claimed made $75 million in PPV revenue. Here's an excerpt from the New York Times article

"Those streams include foreign sales for a fight broadcast in 168 territories; closed-circuit revenues (in 2,000 or so bars and restaurants nationwide, in theaters and in rooms at Las Vegas casinos); site revenue (ticket sales, merchandise); and sponsorships. Most boxers would see little, if any, of that money, whereas, Schaefer said: “All revenues here are Mayweather revenues. He gets part of everything.” "

That's part of it but not the most significant factor. Floyd is a free agent and dips intp his own pockets for expenses, that's why he can keep a bigger slice of all the revenue generated. Pac has to pay Bob and GBP, so his slice is smaller.

                Think about it this way:

                FLOYD

                - Floyd pays Haymon 5% to act as manager/adviser. It's been said before he takes btw 5-7% for fighters he manages.
                - Ellerbe and Roger i believe would be on a flat fee of about 250K per fight.
                - GBP probably takes a flat fee for the promotional work they do and pay for, or a small % of PPV and gate revenue. Additionally Floyd probably dips into his own pocket to pay for a large share, if not majority share of the promotional costs. He would use GBP because of their existing infrastructure, ie human capital, experience and contacts.
                - 25K each to Nate Jones and other training assistants.
                - Pay any staff who do any work at FMJ promotions.

                MANNY

                - Pay Bob 27%. His cut as he dips into his own pockets to promote.
                - Pay GBP 5%-10% or whatever they are entitled to. They get this weven if they don't spend a cent.

.....the rest pretty much is similar to Floyd's expenses and hangers on.

The first payment for Manny is the killer. Also he really doesn't know how much revenue Bob is taking his cut from. Bob could be taking more revenue than he is entitled to after expenses etc, and Manny wouldn't have a clue.

But what you're missing is that it isn't a guarantee they're going to make up to 100 mil

You're aware that the network takes half of all revenue right? That leaves 37.5mil. Now given that Arum is the one putting up all the money and talking all the risk, along with guaranteeing Pac $22mil and JMM $5mil, he has to make his money back plus profits from somewhere.
