The Racket Squad: Berto Defeated Before The Bell

Berto is one hard luck dude.
First his Country collapses, then he loses to Victor and now he has to scratch 11 days prior to a shot at redemption.
It's a kind of summary as to why he will not regain the expectations predicted for him.
Some pugs are just born under a bad sign.

I was a Vanes fan, even when he refused the Perro fight in Mexico, but then Kirkland took that same fight and now I'm not so sure. Kirkland did what Vanes was afraid to do and Vanes all but admitted so at the time. It's hard to overlook the facts and Rios would be too small, even if he moved up.

haha, if it's true, i wouldn't mind seeing this. vanes will outbox him for a bit, but no way he doesn't get touched up by ortiz in 10/12 rounds. when he does, i expect ortiz to really put some hurt on him. i want to say tko or close decision but idk, i got ortiz in this either way.

this sissy cat really earned my disrespect. the fact that he's my former countryman and even from the same city, however he's been defiling the images of our fearless fighters like Vic Darchinyan, Arthur Abraham, Giorgio Petrosyan, Gegard Mussasi and others. this guy is really out talking out the top of his hat. what the hell is he eating and drinking or perhaps smoking that he's got his mind all obscured with his BS? truly, even if he really wants to fight Ortiz, then he should do so without informing the boxingscene.com that he wants to fight Ortiz, but instead should finalize a deal then inform the boxingscene.com about it. he should know well, that the fans will throw rocks at him for his BS. he may or may not be a great boxer, but when he's acting like a lil girl, then his greatness becomes nuisance. dunghill :wank:

Vanes wouldn't fight Perro Angulo in Mexico, but he sure is brave when it comes to fighting a 147 pounder.

Vanes knows it's not happening that's the only reason he's beaking. Fight Lara you bum. No bigger joke in boxing than vanes, and these days that's really saying something. Golden boy and arum are just going to patch things up, come together and make an interesting high risk fight with little upside because of there love for the fans and the spirit of competition.
