If Margarito put it on Martinez, just imagine if Tito did the same? No bueno for Martinez.

you seriously can not compare the old, slow, out of shape, no heart in it, fighting for the check trinidad that fought roy jones at lt. heavyweight to the trinidad that fought at 154 in his prime.

Sergio hardly got touched fighting 154 pound fighters at 154...even Cintron barely touched him. I never really saw him take any punches at 154, not until he moved up to 160 and he slowed slightly.

You take these guys in their primes, I say Sergio gives Tito a run for his money. Martinez got hit early on in his career but you must remember that he never had the luxury of any amateur experience at all. In the last 5 years, he has been on another level.
Why would you compare them when they were the same age?

Why not compare them when they were in their primes?

If Barker could touch Sergio up so can Tito. Tito might stop him but it all depends on how Sergio takes his punch...if he can take it he could out box and stop him late.

I think Martinez outboxes Trinidad, Trinidad was a flat footed fighter Sergio beat him with speed and angles.

If DLH could outbox Tito, sure a prime 154 Martinez can.

Sergio is no Hoya. Not to mention Sergio likes to trade....Barker, Pavlik,Williams.

Who trades with Tito in his prime? And gets away with it?

Let's not forget when cheato fought Sergio, Sergio wasn't in his prime, Sergio started boxing at 20 years old.

Dude started boxing in 1995, started his pro career in 1997 and lost to cheato in 2000.

It's pretty much obvious Sergio Martinez 2010 would humiliate cheato.

And who knows, maybe SOB already was loading his gloves...

Yes, Sergio is a better boxer, a bigger challenge than De La High-heela without a doubt at 154.

Tell me among the fighters Tito has beaten who beat Sergio?

Sergio likes to trade, but not more than Oscar.

If Sergio chose to box I think he outboxes Tito IMO.
