Comments Thread For: Team Price: Tyson Fury Has Thursday Deadline To Agree

As BoxingScene.com first reported, unbeaten British heavyweight David Price could make his American debut on March 24 in Atlantic City, but it depends on whether or not British champion Tyson Fury steps up to the plate. Price knocked out John McDermott inside a round earlier this month to secure a mandatory shot at Fury's British title.

I'm sorry but Price will flatten Fury, completely wipe the floor with him. I see Fury dodging Price - It will mainly be a business decision though, I dont think Fury is a coward, I just think his team realise the risk vs reward ratio in this one.

Fury has no excuse for dodging Price. After the Fury fight he made the decision to keep fighting at a low level whilst Chisora is the one who progressed.

Fury cant claim he doesnt want Price because he is seeking bigger fights as his recent actions have confirmed the contrary. I didnt think Fury was the type to avoid but time will tell. For the record I think Price stops him in a good fight.

fury won't fight him. price is the one who needs to make a name for himself. fury has fought outside britain & fought better competition. fighting price at this stage makes no sense. fury\price will happen but not now. i'd like to see it but fury has beaten chisora who has already fought for the EU belt & is now getting as title shot. fighting price is a step backwards. fury could be getting a title shot soon & a possible loss to price would jeopardize that.

I'd rather Price go and make his American debut on the 24th March than fight Fury. It's a big chance that he can't really afford to miss, especially as a potential Fury fight is looking slim.

I do hope that the opponent is one that can take Price rounds and allow him to show off his skills/power and answer questions regarding his chin and stamina.

Friday Ahunanya would be a good test for Price at this stage because he rarely gets knocked out and will go rounds.

The only thing that these psuedo travelers specialise in is "talking the talk", you'd have to look long and hard before you'll see them in a real fight (ie: one that they didn't stop every couple of minutes and argue about the direction of the wind!).
Travelers?...Ha!...They're essentially council estate trash, who use they're mythical "gypsy" status as an excuse for acting like ignorant arsewipes!
As for Fury, listening to your promotors advice and not facing Price, is ducking, and that's what I think he will do.
