Ortiz Khan Now. What do you think?Poll : Who would win?

With Berto out of the picture due to his injured bicep leaving Victor Ortiz at a lose end and Peterson lining up to fight Marquez leaving Amir Khan in limbo. Both fighters need a good fight now and are managed by Golden Boy so there should be no difficulties in setting up this fight "IF" they want to.
Both fighters are coming off losses but not bad ones. The Peterson fight was very close. There is no shame in losing to Mayweather and Ortiz was doing quite well until the fight ended in a contraversial way. Should Khan win he would propel himself a quantum leap closer to being a credible opponent for Mayweather.
How do you feel about this fight and who do you feel would win and why?

Huge win for either one of these two. They should make it happen. Both guys are young enough to afford a loss. Very big fight to put on at staples.

after what happened in DC Khan should fight only at a neutral venue from now on plus two losses in the row for khan kills his marketability

Why? It is a risky fight for Khan but a win over Ortiz would really put him on the map in one go after losing ground with the Peterson performance. A win over Ortiz would put Khan right in the frame for the Mayweather fight he is constantly harping on about. Khan said the Peterson loss set him back 3 months on the Mayweather fight schedule but that is total Khrap. That fight has dropped him totally out of the picture and a good win over Ortiz actually would move him ahead of where he was going into the Peterson fight re Mayweather.

Not goig to happen. Though I am sure Ortiz could be ready by April, plus it would probably do well at Staples in LA, with Khan being a pretty known name and Ortiz being Latino.

If Khan is serious about still fighting Floyd Mayweather and proving he was robbed against Peterson, which he was, he should take this fight. He won't though, they already said he'll want to take a decent but not great fight for his first fight at 147. I expect Khan to fight Mosley probably.

If Ortiz puts on relentless pressure from the mid rounds up... I got him by a decision or late KO. Khan's going to do his flurries in the beginning, start strong and fast. He'll be tired by the later rounds and that's Ortiz's chance to take him out. Keep attacking Khan and don't let him have his distance.
